Small but very clean caravan park. 2 nice pubs serving good food. Dog friendly only at certain times. Not close to much so you need to drive. Lovely scenery, approx 20 minutes to the sea.

Very quiet, peaceful site in the village of Gilcrux. Only small with around 30 caravans but with a shop, post office and very clean and modern utility room with a washing machine and shower. Surrounded by fields and with trees scattered throughout the site the area is a haven for birds with best boxes all over the site.

Loved our stay here. Communication between hosts was very good, they emailed immediately with instructions for check in/out. Lovely spacious caravan. Clean and well stocked. My son loved the play park which was right in front of our caravan. The caravan park only has about 25 vans on it so it was nice to not be overrun. Lovely little pub in the entrance to the caravan park too. Only down side was something out of control of the hosts which was the couple in the next caravan were quite noisy and had a dog which loved to bark. Ours never made a sound.

Do not stay in 24 the beeches. Unfortunately this owner changed my view of the site after staying before. Got to the site at 7pm on the Friday night and had issues with the central heating. Emailed owner at 7.38pm nd no response until 7am so not hot water or heating. Until they responded but was resolved. We went out at 11am and returned at 3pm. No electric it was a pound metre which was full. The site owner come to try and resolve and unable to resolve as electrician required we stayed that night with candles only no electric. We left on the Sunday at 9am to go for breakfast as we're unable to cook. We paid 150 and owner offered 40 pound refund hahaha shambles

A very nice, small and quiet site, perfect for all ages and dog friendly too. We stayed in number 15, perfect view over the fields behind and the porch was perfect for a dog, gates at the front and back.
didn’t need to use the shower and toilet block or the on site shop but it looked well stocked.
Not a far drive from Keswick either.

Unfortunately not suitable in our opinion for touring caravans. No grey waste disposal. It would be ok for an overnight stay but not for any length of time. However very nice staff helpful and pleasant. Spotless shower room and toilet block one shower 1 toilet. More suitable for motor homes.

Another food delivery with a friend. Numbering is very confusing and the cabins are quite close together. As sites go the setting is a pleasant one with a pub (Masons Arms) and an on site place both very handy. Not for me but better than many local sites from what I saw.
