A decent enough site with nice views and horses, rabbits etc. and good value at £6 per night. Drinking water by the gate and recycling. The negatives: quite the worst cassette emptying point I have ever seen with no rinsing water. Thankfully its on the other side of the field or the smell would be a problem. Because of the location I drove there in the motorhome and got stuck... Thankfully I have a tow rope and a very kind fellow camper with a Discovery helped me out. Also the grass is a bit too long for camping and that was part of the reason I got stuck. Finally there is a big transmitter in the field. Some people are sensitive to these things.

Beautiful views and an absolute delight in great weather, a short walk into town with lovely views the whole way (while you can cut the corner to save time, the longer route affords a lively Riverside walk depositing you right by the dock).
Word of caution though, the beautiful hilltop views are a double edged sword leaving you exposed in less pleasant weather, with the wind off the sea stealing the heat surprisingly quickly.. so make sure you bring a warm jumper and blanket on cooler evenings :)

Delightful little spot. Very quiet,and perfect for visiting Rye and nearby beaches. John the owner is a lovely chap. Two places to empty the loo. And drinking water available. Refuse and recycling also. 8 quid a night for the two of us. What's not to like?

So far so good. Arrived just after two o'clock, light misty rain so left awning and just set van up. Now just came back from 4k walk across fields.

Lovely CL although we were charged £8 instead of the £6 shown in the book and online. No loo emptying

Very quiet and lots of room for my dogs to run. Tap with drinking water and rubbish bins. About 10 minutes drive from the Camber Beach.Would be going back there for sure.

Had two amazing nights at this site..first time. Will definitely return. Lovely walk into Rye as well . Owners very friendly
