Stayed over the christmas period 2008, on arrival warmly welcomed by Barbara the owner. The site is adequatley maintained but the facilities do however leave alot to be desired the single shower room requires 50pence to operate even though you are charged £12.00 per night to stay. There is no laundry or washing-up facilies or even a public payphone, wi-fi no sorry, not even toilet paper in the loo! I did ask the question what exactly do you get for your money, as i thought a more realistic figure would have been approx £50 per week (which incidently is all i paid her but she cut off my electric) overall if you want peace and quiet and don't mind paying o over the odds for not alot in return then go for it......

Great site, Barbara was really welcoming. Stayed recently for one night. I'm normally a club site only person but this showed us what we have been missing.
No doubt we will stay again.

I was so happy when I found this little gem of a site and the owners are such lovely people.. The shower room is lovely and clean ....everything should have been perfect BUT for the two nights I stayed here I was woken at 6am with noise and banging from the wood yard next door it was terrible . I feel for the owners as they have complained to the council but they don't get anywhere, if noise is a problem to you then unfortunately this isn't the place to stay for you!

A nice certificated CAMC members site near to the M6. Hook-ups, shower, WC and CDP. Barbara the host is very welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay here and the owners were delightful .The toilet and shower room were very clean . Unfortunately ,there was noise from a timberyard nearby at 6.30am every morning which the owners & neighbours have complained about but it still happens . My husband has since added his complaints as this a delightful CL and lovely area .The problem of noise needs to be addressed .

The idea of this place is great. Peaceful looking and very much quiet, but at 4:30am to 6:30 am you get nothing but banging from next door. Really really puts the place down. Without that it would be the most peaceful place you can imagine
