Liked: Nice spacious site with lovely clean and well maintained facilities. Enough toilets and showers so that there’s always one available and a family shower/toilet in both mens and womens. Good quality play area for younger children and lots of space to run around. Policy of no noise after 10.30 makes it great for families and those who want a quiet site. 10 minutes into Porthmadog for supermarkets or there’s a few shops a couple of miles up the road in Penrhyndeudreuth. Would recommend especially for young families.

Liked: Great site, quiet during day and very quiet at night. Even ground with well kept pitches. Toilets and showers were very clean and well kept! We had an issue with electric when we arrived and we had help straight away and immediately sorted the problem. Staff could not have been any more helpful about other things either.

Beautiful spot and the play park was great for half an hour of entertaining the little ones. The site felt very safe and uncluttered which meant we felt confident letting out 1yo roam around (obviously with us right behind!) and explore.

We will definitely be back!

Liked: This is a really well maintained and laid out site.

The facilities are modern and clean and there are some really nice touches such as a hand basin in the Elsan disposal point room, plugs in the sinks(!) and plenty of paper towels to keep things clean.

We stayed on a fully serviced gravel pitch in a campervan. It was quiet (brilliant) and the views were amazing. I know I have said it before but the site is amazingly well maintained - probably the best I have stayed on.

Disliked: These are tiny niggles:

1. There is no shop as such so you'll need to get your supplies elsewhere.
2. Its close to a main road so there is some noise (probably more so on the grass pitches).
3. Its a bit of a drive to the main Snowdonia attractions.
4. There are only 4 showers (plus 2 family showers) for the entire site. They can get very busy at time. This is about half of what I would expect.

Liked: Owner made us very welcome. We could choose our pitch and pitch sizes were large and level. Toilet block clean and had good showers with plenty of room to dress. Generally quiet after dark.
Great location - near to Harlech beach, Porthmadog and Snowdon. Good walks nearby.

Disliked: Nothing. Will probably book for next year.

Liked: Good facilities, showers, toilets and washing up area. Really friendly owners. Nice flats pitches well spaced with communal picnic tables. I was in the top field which had good shade in the morning and evenings.

Disliked: Vending machine has a limited range, absolutely better than nothing at all but a small shop with a better range of produce would be a benefit.

Liked: Flat pitches with plenty of space. After a warm welcome we were able to choose our own sheltered pitch. The site is well located within easy reach of main attract, shops, restaurants and bars, although not really in walking distance. Lovely shower toilet and laundry facilities, the hot showers were most welcome after day riding in the mountains on the motorbikes.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Nice quiet campsite with very clean facilities. We had everything we could need with a good showerblock which was close to where we were camping and there were washing up facilities and a hairdryer. The campsite was incredibly clean and well maintained which we liked as well. The pitch size was very generous and enough room to have your car next to the pitch. This made our trip very enjoyable and we will look forward to returning.

Liked: Really nice campsite… dead spacious, clean facilities. Nice shower block and toilets. Which are kept clean all the time.. bit of a play area at the back which is nice for the kids to go and play on.. goal nets there too (saved putting ours up). Drinking water supply stationed around the site.. local owls talking to each other at night which was fun for the kids.. site close to zip world and snowdons trails castle and beach close by.. run by a really nice family that greeted us and made us feel welcome.. (apart from the telling off I had for my radio ohps 😂😂)..
