Short break booked pretty much last minute. LLoyd and Olwen are so welcoming and very personable. The site is very well kept and surrounded by beautiful scenery. I stayed in caravan No 24 which was absolutely spotless and soooo comfortable, everything you needed was included. Will be returning in the future, sooner rather than later.

We always love our holidays at Rowen. The owners are lovely and the accommodation very comfortable. Lots of walks and beaches in the area and only a few minutes drive into the centre of Barmouth. It's our home from home!

Stayed on the campsite in a small campervan, for two days. A great site with good views and a well maintained, flat field. Facilities are basic and clean, but this is Ok - I think this contributes to its charm. Owner very helpful; fellow campers very considerate and friendly. Caravan site shop sells most basics. Also near is a good pub and a pizza restaurant. Recommended.
Not in use
This place is fantastic, honestly. This caravan site has some of the nicest views, is quiet and the owners are lovely, always helpful and chatty. A short drive down the road will take you to the lovely town of Barmouth with a gorgeous beach. There is a beach and arcades within walking distance (arcades are not on the site). I’ve been staying here for years and not one time have I been disappointed or bored. Rooms are always clean, blue ray players, on suite power showers and a cosy atmosphere at night or day. 5 stars from me, and if you’re going to Barmouth or talybont, you better stay at Rowens.
You can do it too
Beautiful camp site, will take tourers but no hook up for electricity, we use solar panels. Great walks has a stream running through it and a small shop. Pub and pizza place just outside the camp.

Never stayed here but a footpath runs through which we use regularly. Looks lovely as we pass through
