Liked: Beautiful location! Shower and toilet facilities were excellent, friendly caretakers with good advice on where to visit. Excellent pub around the corner Gluten free options. Kidwelly 5 mins drive- nice pub the old moat house and excellent landlord. Castle well worth the visit. Time for tea cafe, excellent gluten free menu. Outstanding campsite.

Disliked: Nothing except the when we were there the campsite wasn’t busy. I imagine that the beautiful facilities would be in high demand if the campsite was full.

Liked: We loved Everything about this campsite!! Super clean and modern toilets and showers. We were greeted by Gary who was just so nice and helpful. The both owners were friendly and helpful and excellent with the children that were on site. The ground was perfect to pitch the tent on, site was clean and so peaceful. Facilities to wash dishes and use of a fridge if you need it. Simply the best camping site we have been to! Wish we were able to book for longer. Will definitely come back!

Liked: Lovely and relaxed campsite. Plenty of space for children to play. Very friendly site staff, stated clear rules with regards to driving carefully to keep everyone safe. The cleanest and nicest shower and toilet facilities we’ve used on campsite. Everyone was welcoming. Some of our family stayed in tents others had an electric hook up for a van. 5 min walk to local pub

Liked: Lovely site with amazing views. The managers were lovely people, Gary would go above and beyond to help. The toilet and shower block was modern and very clean. Piped music, a selection of books and DVDs for you to have a lend of. Even a small basket of toiletries for you to use if you had forgotten something. That was a nice touch. I cannot say much about the locality as the two days that we were there were the hottest on a record! We were hoping to go for a walk with the dog but the weather was far too hot. Unfortunately the beach isn't as close to the site as some photos make it look, apparently it is quite a walk and coming back it is all uphill, so bear that in mind. But the views are stunning.

Liked: Lovely clean site . Owners were very friendly. Pub only 5 minutes away by foot, highly recommended as the food was fab. Fantastic views from the site. The toilets and showers are of a very high standard. Swings In the field for the kids to enjoy whilst we sat back an watched the world go by.

Liked: Everything. Toilets and showers extremely spotless, loved the music playing as you showered. The people who stayed there were very considerate of others (big bonus) the owners/ staff are so friendly and helpful. Fridge freezer for use brilliant idea, pub up the road excellent food. Highly recommended and definitely will be returning next year. Couldn't fault nothing. The views were exceptional.

Liked: Lovely and clean, superb shower block with books to borrow. Not littered with signs for Do & dont. Lovely views and lots of walks from the doorstep. Use of a fridge freezer was handy too.

Disliked: Our first night was spoiled by a group of several families who between them had 10 boys…the kids were fine, it was the adults that played loud music and were talking loudly past 3am. I’m all for people having a good time but this was totally inconsiderate and should have been curbed by site management at the time.

Stayed here over summer - clean shower block, good views but a bit of a way away from the nearest beach.

Main reason for bad review is the way I was treated by Gary, who helps run the site. Was aggressive towards me, calling me a liar, demanding more money and threatening to send pictures of my car to a debt collection agency if I didn't pay an extra fee for having more people on our plot than we booked (in fact we had fewer people than we booked, as shown on the CCTV). Did manage to get this money back off owner after a couple weeks of messaging. But the whole experience left an unpleasant taste in the mouth and can't say I'd want to return.
