Liked: Very lovely site family friendly owners and worker. Couldn’t do enough for us to make our stay a good one. Showers were lovely aswell. Lovely river to paddle in so we could cool down in that heat we had.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The elevated position of the pitches separated away from the statics. The pitches themselves were generous in size and each had their own water supply and drainage point for grey water. The showers and toilets (only for use by tourers) were kept spotlessly clean and were positively luxurious by some site standards with spacious individual wet rooms.
Andrew was friendly, helpful and very professional. I'm sure that the impression he gave that nothing was too much trouble was a very genuine one. He and his team certainly kept the site in good order; it was an extremely attractive site.

Liked: Facilities really clean and modern
Campsite was so quiet
Stunning setting

Disliked: Key fob required for toilet block (mainly because i am forgetful when needing a wee at 3am and having to scramble back to van wasn't ideal)

My gran owned a caravan here and has been forced to sell. The owners are not nice, this used to be a great park and now it is not nice. Waynus Hilton keeps adding new hidden costs, i would not recommend that any one buys a caravan from here it has left my gran very upset and at her age this is just out of order.

I owned a static caravan at Irfon River Caravan Park for 11 years until early December 2022 when I arranged to have it removed from site. The reason for me deciding to remove the caravan was due to a 50% hike in siting the caravan by the new owners of the park Mr & Mrs Hilden. Up until 2021 caravan owners paid an annual site licence fee payable to the previous owners by 28 February each year covering an annual site licence which was reviewed each year by the previous owners. Right out of the blue the new owners introduced on 27 July 2022 an additional fee of £1000 plus vat which they called a lease payment which they wanted paid by 01/09/2022. Very strange the new owners still retained the site fee payable by 28 February each year. So we had a situation where caravan owners were expected to pay a lease fee on 1 September each year and a site fee on 28 February each year. The imposition of and reason for a lease fee I could not obtain from the new owners despite a number of correspondence between them and myself. Quite a number of other caravan owners have sold up and left site and some were quite upset by the action of the new owners.

I am quite sad to have had to sell my caravan and move off site as the site itself is quite pleasant but the thought of paying £4000 or so each year for siting my caravan was a no brainer.

Liked: A really beautiful site in an amazing setting. Very friendly and helpful owners.

Facilities were excellent, bathrooms were spotless, showers super large and hot.

One tiny grumble, no mirrors in front of the washbasins so unable to shave.
Ok if you had bought a travelling mirror but not many people do.

Brilliant wi-fi.. really fast.

Disliked: Nothing really a lovely site, not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Would have liked a bigger play area for the children, and in a more central location.
