Pret A Manger

I love a quick Pret lunch and coffee, their pastries and cookies are fresh too . Always busy here though , makes me laugh when they ask if you’re ‘eating in’ and there’s nowhere to sit . Just order it to go and take your chances .

Shockingly expensive now with a sandwich for £4:85 and simple salads for £9, however ..
just 4 tables occupied and all the tables filthy. I had to ask for a table to be cleaned, to be met with “well there’s only us”.
I replied “ yes but you’re not busy and both of you are stood there chewing your nails and chatting whilst every table is dirty.”

Appalling customer service. Not for me, anymore.

Coffee and rest of the food consistent with central London quality. However, they do seem to run out of non dairy options often which isn’t great so a star off for that as there are many of us who are lactose intolerant. I found my pastry to be raw in the middle today and taking a star off for that as raw dough is not ideal for consumption. Sunshine bowl and sandwiches were great so no complaints there.

Good service. Shop has now stopped selling fresh message smoothies really disappointed. This is a common feature with Pret shops dropping smoothies

Ham and cheese toastie - the mustard is the best! Add a filter coffee and away you go, great start to the day.

Shopped at Bluewater for decades and have always had lunch in Pret. Was delighted when they came to Brentwood High Street last year but alas TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. Used Brentwood twice but never ever again - filthy! Nevertheless, went to Bluewater today and 3 dried sandwiches just shy of £18. Fridges were off! Place was boiling hot. Sandwiches were very dry. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT AND WILL NEVER USE AGAIN. Things change over the years inevitably, but Pret has not changed for the better. Standards have slipped enormously both in store and inside the wrapper! Jacqueline D.

Bought to coffees, one had to go back as it was cold. The warm food selection was very very limited, just badly stocked. Very disappointed as no China cups just disposable coffee cups. Lots of people just sitting not eating or drinking so no space to sit.
Very disappointing visit, will not be back.

I would always aim for a pret if i saw one while out. But the last few years i think they have lost their character and this is definitely one of the ones that shows that. Personally I'll go elsewhere in future
