Best baguettes in Amersham! You won't be going home hungry after one of these

We popped into Amersham on the off chance and saw this nice little place. The gentleman running it was evidently busy with a buffet of some sort but his service was still great 👍🏻 he has a young lad helping him ( possibly his son as it is the summer holidays?) he was so sweet and helpful, counting the change twice to make sure he had it right. What a lovely young man, a credit to his parents! We gave him a little tip :) Yummy brown baguettes and a jacket potato, also I would personally grate the cheese not cube it, but each to their own! Will definitely be going back when in the area.

Good and fresh. A wide variety of baguettes and sandwiches. They do vegetarian options as well. Parking literally outside the shop and contactless payments accepted.

The New Yorker baguette was very nice, they seem to take pride in their food they serve highly recommended.

La Baguette is such a treat that our office now has lunch from there every Friday. The prices are slightly higher than the big chains but you definitely get more than your moneys worth. Can't recommend highly enough.

I’ve been using La Baguette since 1998, and wouldn’t go anywhere else in the Amersham area. Fresh, wholesome, good quality food, and a good selection of fillings. I’ve even sat outside in the sun on their bistro tables to enjoy my lunch..... 22 years a customer and counting, sorry it’s taken so long to leave a review!

Today was my first time visiting this establishment and I must say I am very impressed. The premises was very clean and well-presented. There is a large menu offering plenty of choice and the prices are reasonable. The gentleman who was serving was very polite and helpful and my resulting baguette was very tasty, fresh and made to order. The quantity and quality of the filling was also very good. I will be visiting again in the near future!

I've been eating from here for over 20 years and I can tell you the standard of the sandwiches and service have never dropped. A great local business that deserves recognition and support - see you again soon for another prawn mayo baguette mate!
