The croque monsieur filled my stomach, and the server even warmed it up for me. Because it was near to closing, the sandwich didn't taste as though it had come fresh from the oven but was still palatable. The super-sized macaroon served as the perfect dessert--palm-sized, soft shells encasing rich, cocoa filling--ending the entire dining experience on a sweet note.
PAUL Three Quays has a great location near the Tower of London and even outside seating where you can enjoy the view of the river and watching passersby. If you're planning to be in that area for the day, it would make an excellent lunch spot!
I will update when I visit it next time.
Updating as of 28.3.2022...
After a long while we popped in Paul Three Quays,as wife had fancied a carrot cake...oh no they don't do carrot cakes!....then we looked what could substitute it ...unfortunately found nothing but ended up some thing that we didnt want it...an olive bague with mozzarella and a bit salad in we down it with a coffee.
It was so disappointing to see our excitement of having a good snack with a lovely coffee over thames view has been reduced to the one eaten by rough sleepers on the street as the baguettes and coffee were served in a paper bags and paper cups as seen in the photos.
I think pauls has lost its cutting edge customer care and serve.
The too many of the staff at the counter was also drawn my attention, which seemed to me a bit overemployed.
Hope hope we won't face another P&O staff crises at the Paul.
Have a good night
Really disappointed with the whole experience, the sausage rolls were great and some of the patisserie items were decent but the pistachio macaron was so hard and chewy we couldn't cut through it and the coffee took ages and was so terribly burned that it was impossible to drink. Really not worth the >£40 that we spent
The food look like nice, however it is a bit overpriced for the quality as at the end it doesn’t really look like, and taste, freshly made.
For a Black Forest cake slice, chocolate eclair, hot chocolate and a latte we paid £19 which seems a bit too much for the quality and coffee served in a takeout cups and wooden cutlery (takeout style).
I wouldn’t suggest this place, sorry.
