Pret A Manger

This is a must for a good coffee and a pastry every time we visit Exeter. I love the friendly staff and the coffee system. The filter coffee is as good as any and good value. The pastries are great and the hot food in their self contained container works perfectly. No waste. Love the place.

The baristas themselves are really nice, but the woman who I believe is the manager is quite possibly the rudest person I have encountered in customer service. I am a subscription holder who visits this pret almost daily and each time I am shocked by her attitude, many friends also agree, she makes for a negative experience everytime without fail. A smile costs nothing.

The Pret subscription for £25 a month is one of the best deals around: up to 5 drinks a day so long as they are 30 minutes apart.

In my first two weeks of using it I have already managed to get around £130 worth of drinks. Their smoothies especially are very nice. Although at times there can be a queue for the most part very quick to get drinks.

Overall I'd recommend it for anyone able to get to pret often during the day, and wants cheap drinks!!

I’m a big fan of the coffee, but this location needs more frequent cleaning. Unacceptable

Rude staff think its ok to verbally abuse customers, saw one of them loudly shout at a customer today in front of a busy room, put me off my food. Disgusting behaviour, will not be visiting this establishment again

Very rude staff! A young gentleman rolled his yes and made grimaces at me when I ask him why did they only do one shot of coffee in the Americano when I paid £2.80 for a coffee and had to pay another extra for 1 shot when I should have had 2 shots as a normal Americano comes with? he replied rolling his yes and looking at me as if I was from another planet , that’s what we do here if you have got a problem take it up with head office! I did say to him how rude he was and he started to argue with me and very aggressive asked me what did you say? Did you called me cheeky? I said no you are being very rude! Can you train your young staff to be more polite as I am old enough to be his mother!
