Pret A Manger

Lovely lovely place, love all the staff, their hard work is appreciated. However, the operating manager is rude and unprofessional. He approached a table of my friends (who had all purchased drinks and food), not dressed in uniform and refused to identify himself at first. He began aggressively telling us off as I was eating a bag of crisps not brought in the pret store. I have severe allergies and do not trust food from pret after previous incidents. I was not given a chance to explain myself and although I recognise he needs to do his job, he ruined my day and made me feel distressed and threatened.

Service was quick however the tables were not clean. I noticed a lot of flies coming out of the bins underneath where the sugar is kept. I did not feel it was very hygienic and to the standard it normally is unfortunately.

I specially brought subscription for drinks ..I always buy smoothies cheery & berry in 6 weeks no cherry & berry I was told it be available nxt year summer .i went Guildford always available.phone head office there said should be available .manager needs to sort out .lazy branch .

Ordered 4 items and had to ask repeatedly what happened to 3 of them!

The cappuccino arrived first and had to chase up latte and croissant ! My husband ended up finishing while I waited for my drink.

Needs improvement... my coffees have been served lukewarm lately, no where to sit and my favourite smoked salmon sandwiches seem to be always out of stock! Also the men’s toilet was in a bad condition today!

I have been going to Pret in Woking for years. I have always appreciated their customer service, beverages and food. Everyone has always been professional and friendly. But today wasn't the case. Asked & Paid for Mocha, was stood at the back waiting for it. The young man who was making it, I saw him pour the pre made coffee in the mug, half a mug was filled with milk. When I took the mug not only the mug was cold buT half filled. I told the person and i was given rolled eyes and she said I don't know what you are complaining about. It's fine!!!!! I felt like a fool showing them half a mug of COLD COFFEE And getting rolled eyes and huffing and puffing back on my face. I walked away without coffee because this is not how anyone would want to star their morning. Very disappointed !!!

This place has really nose dived since it came under a new franchise owner. Queue times are super long, the staff are okay but not friendly, the upstairs area often unavailable.

It needs investment in team and training.

Unfortunately pret have decided to drop their filter coffee now . Apart from it being a. Good price and a. Good taste. I won't be going back as a. Price of my black coffee has now doubled. Shame !!
