Extremely tasty food. Friendly staff. Brought the food out to my car instead of me wanting in the cold for my order. Top marks 👌
You can eat in the little hut next to it or outside on the tables and chairs provided too.

I tried the Eddie hall special. I was able to finish it but I ended up not eating lunch or dinner. It was very filling, the oatcakes themselves were very well made. At first I expected it to be greesy but it wasn't. Very well. I'd give it 100 stars. I highly recommend anyone to go there. Staff is also very friendly and helpful.

Very much a standard level oatcake establishment in my honest humble potteries opinion. There is definitely better oatcake shops around, but the main issue with this oatcake shop is that it's very rarely open, so I just overlook the place, I also found it to be overpriced. For example a bacon and cheese double is £1.90 at London road oatcakes, meanwhile at castle oatcakes the same bacon and cheese double oatcake will cost you £3 and to be totally honest you're paying for a worse product.

So to sum up exactly what it is that I don't like about castle oatcake,
1 it's very rarely open
2 it's overpriced as I've pointed out above
3 it's a bang average oatcake that they produce.

The best oatcakes in Staffordshire - nice and thick and very tasty. Good service and value for money too.

Can't fault how clean the shop is.
Sadly it's hardly ever open. I wouldn't say its a bad oatcake, but there is definitely nicer oatcakes in the area. Its a shame because it's got so much potential. Staff are always polite and friendly. Whenever we work in Newcastle, we walk across but its very rarely open.

I used to love castle oatcakes but the last two orders I've had have been awful the meat has a horrible colouring to it and it is literally slapped together... shame really

What a waste! I have thrown away two ultimate oatcakes and a double sausage McMuffin. I heard they’re buying oatcake heaven- so now I won’t be buying oatcakes at all.
