Subway

Really kind staff, who kindly asked every stage of the sandwich building process as expected. The special Christmas special - Ultimate steak and cheese sub with garlic butter. The staff took care in preparing my sandwich and ensuring it was prepped in the correct order, making it the tastiest sub I've had in years. Kirkby adds great extras that other stores need to adopt if they haven't already, especially the idea of using tin foil to keep the sandwich warm when taking the sub away.

Spacious with a few seats downstairs but majority of the seating is upstairs. Great addition having a usable unisex toilet accessible by disabled users. Would recommend this subway when stopping by Kirkby if you are in town.

10/10 would defiantly come back again as a lovely staff member asked if I needed help with the door when leaving and felt the staff take care with their customers.

First time at this particular subway. Nice clean, light and airy environment. Staff were welcoming and pleasant to deal with. Food was excellent. Slight delay due to a ubereats or similar which was slightly disappointing. Spot on otherwise.

Just been there and took 2 BMT Italian, want to mention that this is what I always order from Subway (Sutton or Mansfield) was happy I had one closer but I was so disappointed it tasted so awkward.I was hungry so I ate half till I realized I could get sick from it. Something inside the sandwich was definitely old. Never again from Kirkby I'll be going to Sutton when I want one.

Poor customer service. Both men behind the counter didn’t seem to know what they were doing. My son asked for a meatball marinara toasted the bread then put the sauce on cold. Asked if he would pop it back in the oven. He just shrugged. Daughter has a cold vegan sub. Didn’t heat the patty of change his gloves to make it. Kept pulling masks down to talk to customers. Not acceptable.

Very poor service. Took 9 children in for an after party treat along with adults...and was met with glum faces from young inexperienced people who didn’t want to be their.
Floor was wet (no sign a out!!) and the dining area had been wiped clean well before closing time (presume they weren’t busy) so they could get off as soon as they closed so they Wouldn’t let us (not even the kids) dine in as they do have to clean a table...and so we had to sit outside in the freezing cold for them to eat their food while the staff just stood in the shop looking on!
Half of what we ordered was too much trouble or said they didn’t have it..Made a complaint to subway but got the usual ‘really sorry blah blah blah excuse...when for what I paid in sandwiches at the end of the day should of been refunded!...looking at subway reviews their obviously a company that now Mr Chedsey has made his billions aren’t interested in the people who got him their and again their procedure are like others you can’t speak to anyone it’s an automated email..with no reply!
Won’t go here again.

Lovely clean shop, with friendly staff. Great food and easy location to find

Ordered an Italian bmt and got sick from it probably from the salad that looked old and yellow

The subs were poorly dressed as one contained too little sauce as it was plastered all over the wrapping. In addition to this it also contained half a can of sweet corn which is not acceptable nor what we wanted. There seemed to be a lack of care when making the food so as a whole very disappointed in what I received, will never be ordering from this subway ever again. Awful.
