Ivanhoe School

Classrooms usually cold, some nice teachers but then there's also horrible ones that have favourites and pick on others. Food right now is below standard. E.g. hair found in food, hard, dry cakes, tomato found in a 'just cheese' sandwich, etc. The school itself is also in need of refurbishment. Dinner hall currently under construction but the school throughout needs RePainting, plastering, etc. Just a few tweeks I as a student have picked up...

as a former student I must praise Ivanhoe college, I found that the education i received was excellent and now as a University student i find myself thanking Ivanhoe for getting me to where i am today.

I really enjoyed my time there and Ivanhoe helped me a great deal. Now being at Ashby Grammer, I really miss it but they helped me get ready for moving up and making sure it wasn't such a big transition.

The food is horrible. The school is not even clean including: classes, toilets and outside. The paint job not even done properly. Teachers get mad for anything. This school is very bad and i do not recommend it for anyone. I know all of this because i have experienced it in 2015-16 season.

This school is good and I do recommend this school for anyone because they will push you to that limit that you can't anymore..

Ashby Ivanhoe as a school, really did me a power of good,
It's great & very helpfull IF you wish to learn, The Teacher's went out of there way to help you,, if you wanted to be helped.
Full marks. Since leaving & going to Ashby Grammar, all good.
Now I hold a Doctor-ship in Engineering. Thankyou so much for giving me the help & The "Kick" (help) When needed.

Good old days cane smack around the ear for being cheeky haha

The uniform is extremely strict which makes children unable to express to there individuality. If you are going to give them strict uniform rules you should learn to compromise with the students such as allowing them to have false nails as long as they wear the correct uniform I find this incident upsetting. I also do not understand what the problem is with skirts not far above the knee I find these rules shocking
