My Daughter goes to this school and the GCSE rates are improving every year. I would recommend this school; very social and healthy environment

My daughter did not want to come to this school, she hated it for the first few weeks but now she loves it!! They get a lot of freedom, it is a happy, supportive environment and the teachers are amazing. My daughter had dyslexia, but they make her feel involved by treating her like everyone else. Overall, it is a very fun school and you should definitely consider it.

I first went to this school when it first opened in 1957 and was called William Penn. It was good in those days

I find this hell hole unbelievably disgusting, the teachers are rude and you can get detentions for basically nothing.

Graduated 2011 from here. Had a terrible experience - teachers didn't really teach you - you had to do all the work yourselves. No clubs or sports apart from football and if you weren't "cool" you couldn't join. Tried to start a badminton club, and it got shut down because an external judo teacher was willing to buy the time in the sports hall to teach 5 year olds. Got told I wouldn't amount to anything by some of the teachers, and that I was choosing the "wrong" A levels for my degree (I wasn't). I used to pop back to the school to at uni to say hi to a couple of the teachers I liked, but was then told I needed an appointment to even enter the school. Wouldn't recommend unless you like be bullied and self teaching yourself subjects.

This is a consistently outstanding school. The one star reviews posted here are ridiculous.
