Whitehall Park School

A brilliant free school with dedicated professional staff and a masterful headmistress. Basically better than most private schools but free.

When my husband and I chose this school for our twins we had high hopes and we have not been disappointed. In fact the school has smashed our expectations. Our children are coming to the end of their first year at school and they are happy, confident, reading brilliantly and loving reading on their own, writing so well and their maths is well beyond where I expected it to be. And in terms of their creativity, interests in art, sport, music and expressing themselves they have blossomed. The teachers, with their patience and boundless energy, and the leadership team are totally dedicated to nurturing every child and the results are quite something. These brilliant teachers have instilled in my children a passionate love of learning that is captivating. We are so happy with this school.

This is an amazing local school. Leadership abounds with enthusiasm and energy and my child has progressed incredibly well at this school. There is a great feel of community surrounding this school. Overall I couldn't have chosen a better school for my child. Thank you WPS!!

It's Ok- my brother is learning well there. uniform is concerning as its too formal and complicated for little kids, my brother gets so annoyed with the uniform as its uncomfortable and hard for him to put on after PE. Also his teacher got annoyed at me for writing the alphabet in his homework book, he finds writing the alphabet hard so I was trying to help, also relating to homework, they give to much to the kids, he gets so exhausted doing it and frustrated because the tasks are boring and uninspiring for him and even me, he just gets a sheet with all the work he needs to do on it, it's confusing and has too much on it, which includes maths, English, reading, topic. But yeah it's ok other than that.

The best decision we've made for our two children. An incredible school with amazing and dedicated staff. The kids are really happy and engaged. On many occasions it feels like a private school. Thank you WPS!
