Vince Lombardi said that 'Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence' and it is to this philosophy that Shooters Hill operates to on a daily basis.

The Campus provides its students with a motivating, and well equipped environment for learning.
While its aesthetic appeal is somewhat to be desired, the Campus makes up for the shortcoming ten times over with its excellent teachers, support staff, and leadership team.

The Campus employs a number of different support staff, in areas from administration, to learning support. In my experience these staff members have been helpful, friendly, sociable, and willing to support students in whatever way they can. Additionally, the Campus Leadership is outstanding and willing to help students, no matter how difficult that student may be, as are the teachers.

Shooters Hill is privileged to employ a number of quintessential teachers, who are both engaging and energetic with the will and determination to help each student through their course.
Throughout varies different educational institutions I was never so lucky in my teachers than I was at Shooters Hill, and it is without a doubt that I owe my current attendance at University to them.

If you are considering attending the College, I strongly recommend it. Should you attend with an open mind, and the eagerness to learn the Campus can offer you a chance to succeed. Seize it.

I am very grateful to have attended Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus to study my A levels . It is one of the best decisions I've made. The campus provides useful facilities to aid students to achieve and perform to the best of their ability. This includes the library , quiet study rooms ,university students to help the pupils to improve their writing techniques and the HUB.
Each pupil is treated with respect and their complaints and needs are taken into account . Staff there go out their way to ensure that students are fully prepared for their exams and all I can say is that I have never met so much motivated and fully dedicated teachers until I attended this school . (The Humanites Department staff) The staff were very helpful whenever there was a problem.
At the start of each term students progress is monitored and revision classes are always arranged to improve. Also students are told what is expected of them/what they should aim to achieve each term.

In experience I also understand that studying A levels or any other courses is not always easy as so much is expected .If it wasnt for the teachers there and their motivation I will not be where I am today at university because they taught me so much skills needed and essential at higher education.

The food in the canteen is good and well prepared and fairly at a good price too.The campus is safe and security is there as well .Other excellent facilities includes tennis courts , swimming pool which students can use/learn how to swim, gym and basketball courts.
I have also met some wonderful people there and everyone is friendly .
If anyone is looking for a college to attend I would strongly recommend Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus !
A huge thank you to Lisa ,science and humanites department for taking your time to help us and I greatly appreciate it .

I have been at this college since September. The environment is pretty unpleasant, teachers treat you like little children (i.e star charts for good punctuality) and make minor issues into big ones. I'm constantly being disrespected by staff members and none of my complaints are taken seriously. The teaching standard at this college is incredibly low in most classes (excluding a few). The staff do not inform you if a teacher is off sick and if they are you are still forced to come in and sign into a register and soon they will be making students do 'supervised work'. We had a mock week this week which we were badly prepared for and it was much too early to even be taking exams and if you get below a grade D you may be forced to resit and taken off your course. There is also a lack of decent facilities for the number of pupils at the college; the places to sit are almost always full and the canteen frequently runs out of food. Do not come here!

We've had the pleasure of being a supplier to Shooters Hill Campus for many years and have always had a professional and positive relationship. We can happily say that Shooters Hill Campus are always adamant on hiring skilled staff that understand the ethos of the College. Fortunately we have been successful in placing people in various roles and have only ever heard great feedback. The students have a will to learn and succeed and the staff strive to help them achieve that at any costs. Shooters Hill Campus is a great place to work but more so a great place to study.

The staff are friendly and approachable and often make it their business to make sure your time at the campus is a pleasant one. If you have a problem in lesson just ask to see them afterwards or, if they are busy, arrange a time so that you can express your concerns with them. Being taught here is great fun, especially in the first year, with teachers often presenting lessons in such a dynamic way that you forget that your learning and start actually having fun! two things that I never thought could be synonymous! Students are also given regular feedback tailored to their individual needs, both written and with one-to-one meetings with teachers so that they can improve on their work and progress in class. The only hiccup I really had was with Tutorial which was unfortunately compulsory, with the lessons tending to be more of a bore and a bother then providing anything that was really useful, though this changes in the second year when the focus comes around to completing UCAS applications. Overall my time at Shooter's Hill Campus is something that I will forever cherish, and it feels me with great sadness that I eventually had to leave for university. Some of the staff there I can honestly say are the kindest, most decent people I have ever met in my life, and I would encourage anyone who seeks to improve themselves to attend here.

Before the new term I would recommend shooters hill to everyone it was honestly the best college. Now after the leave of the old director Mark Vincent a new seccondly school teacher has took over and made it into a secondry school (DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE AN ADULT THERE ARE PLACES THAT WILL TREAT YOU BETTER AS AN INDIVIDUAL AND AS A ADULT) I'm 18 years old and I can't leave the gates to go to double check if my car is locked, if your a minute late due to any reason you will have to stay behind an hour. Lunches have been deducted 15 mins making it 45 mins for lunch and the lunch hall is jam packed because everyone has the same times now making it take longer then 45 mins to get food. Nice planning new Director. Not to mention last year we had the best grades ever to have in shooters hill campus over 90% pass rate, that includes everyone who chances there mind at the end of the year. And their plan to improve is to do this and waste our time.
