This place is very cool, interactive stations across two floors. We could have spent hours here. It was busy but we all got a chance to go on each station. The kids LOVED the hurricane simulator, all the kids were running around screaming! Some of the areas were out of order, but 90% were working. There is a lift for prams and wheelchairs. The gift shop was sweet and not overpriced. Many wooden and scientific items for sale which was nice to see. Can't wait to come back!

Great place for children over the age of 5 so they can understand what they are looking at.
Everything explained on the panels. You need around 2 h to see everything and play with the experiments.
Worth the visit.

Museum is not that big but does have lots of great interactive elements
Great place for children, well designed and staff are friendly and helpful.
The QR code tag system is great too, you can use it to keep a record of all the interactions you have done and access it when you go home.

There is so much to do and just too little time! We thoroughly enjoyed the manual puzzles but lots of different types of exhibitions to keep everyone occupied.

So much to see and participate in. Safe environment, great team of staff with good knowledge. A must see at least once. Would highly recommend.

Great place to bring young children who love to learn. Lots of different stations spread out over two large floors to keep them occupied for a few hours, particularly on a wet day.
It's improved alot from when I visited approx 2yrs ago although still disappointed to see that a few stations weren't working.
Lovely cafe there to serving drinks, cakes, baguettes etc.

We visited last weekend with 2 excited 7 year olds. They had a fantastic time learning and exploring. They especially liked the simulation of a hurricane, slide and the giant piano. We didn't use the cafe services so are unable to comment on those. Overall a great day out with fun for all ages. My Fiancé had just as much fun as the kids.

We visited on a Friday during half term and had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. It was fairly busy but we weren't waiting around to engage with the activities and experiments too long. The general exhibition area was clean and tidy. The baby change cubicle was a little fragrant and in need of a fresh few bags in the nappy bins.
Suitable for all ages. We visited with our 5 year old and 1 year old. And even the adults enjoyed their afternoon out! 3 hours is the perfect amount of time to spend. Our 5 year old didn't complain about being bored once!! 😂
We used the discount code to park at the nearby Pierhead Q Park. Short walk to Techniquest but manageable.
