What a wonderful little place tucked away in the countryside. Despite not being a big fish food fan this place was recommended to us by a friend and didn't disappoint.

An accident with the chef in the kitchen meant that food was slightly delayed, the staff however bent over backwards to apologise and ensure it didn't ruin anyone's evening.

Food was incredible! Hats off to the chef, who despite being injured managed to cook steaks for all of us (each one perfectly cooked to our liking).

Reasonably priced made this evening incredible value and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Personal favourites were the tomato and red pepper soup and the chocolate fudge sponge.

Lovely place, defo be back! Calamari to die for! Crab, yum! The Lobster Thermidor was okay, not the best I've had (bit stodgy) however, the accompanying Sirloin Steak, a, maze, ING!! Beautiful!! Chips & Salad not bad either... Couple of issues when we popped in, staff a tad inconsistent, and the toilet's not checked, big issue for some, not really for us, this was bought to the senior's attention and dealt with, so, on that premise. Well done and see you soon!!

Location A* and thats just the start. The restaurant is all about the beautifully executed honest produce. Namely lobster multiple ways. Its basic, in a way that adds to the ambience. Lots of friendly staff adding to the superb experience. I give The Lobster Pot the highest recommended and would most definitely be going again. Lobster doesn't need to be eye watering expensive and this restaurant demonstrates that! Thank you to everyone that makes this possible.

Fabulous food and really nice service. They were short staffed but, rather than pile everyone in and then give poor service, they restricted the number of covers and were, therefore, still able to look after everyone beautifully. I have no idea how the food compared as I have never had it anywhere else but I thoroughly enjoyed what I ate and could not fault it in any way. My only regret is that they are so busy that I am unable to go again whilst visiting thus beautiful area!

service was amazing, and food where do.i begin. the scallops were juicy and meaty, my Partner had the full lobster and I had the mussels. all cooked to perfection and plenty of it. then I got the bill and wow goes to show you can have amazing food and not have to pay for the rest of the year for it. highly, highly recommend and we will be back for sure

Overall would say really rather overpriced. It’s in a lovely spot next to the bay so may be paying for location.

Pros: lovely tasty starters. Friendly for baby and accommodating. Staff are really attentive and serve with a smile. Good for celiacs, appear to take it seriously and thee are tasty options. Tasty chips.

Cons: if you go for a lobster experience it’s probably not the right place. The lobsters are very small, not much bigger than larger prawns in terms of flesh. Have eaten in quite a few places that serve lobster and gotten much bigger portions and it was quite over cooked. The side veg are really for comedic value, they served basically whole boiled carrots, my one year old ate some but it wasn’t too appetising for me! We went to another restaurant afterwards because we were still hungry despite over £120 spent. Sadly I wouldn’t go back.

The food and experience has in the past been really good but it feels like popularity has somewhat taken hold and the old lobster pot has been refurbished to remove much of its former charm. Similarly the food, whilst tasty was a little disappointing. I had lobster but it came with leaf salad and a lot of what looked to me like frozen chips? My partner had the crab served in the same way. In the past you got a bubbling ceramic pot of lobster or crab in mornay sauce, now it’s served in its shell and seemed to us like a reduced portion with the chips dominating the plate. It’s a lovely location and the staff great but for the money it seemed pricey and bulked by chips.

Had a fantastic meal, we couldn't decide between starters so we ordered the calamari, the seared scallops and the spicy crab cakes all of which were great.
For mains we had Anglesey platers, one with oysters one with prawns. Gorgeous food, well worth a visit
