Pentagon Nottingham Chilwell | SEAT and Motability

Just ordered the family's fifth car from this dealership. (First one for my father-in-law, four over the years for us). SEAT design and manufacture good cars at a decent price, and we have never had a single issue with reliability or in car problems.

Staff are always very friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Only issue is the ridiculous wait times, (ordered our car in March and will hopefully get it in September) but I understand that this is a industry wide issue with the supply of chips, so isnt SEAT'S fault.

Thoroughly recommended.

I recently bought a used Mercedes A Class from pentagon, Dej was fantastic from start to finish he was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. His customer service was above and beyond. The whole team was very helpful, friendly with no pushy sales. I would definitely recommend buying a car from them and would return again when I'm ready for a new one. Thank you Dej excellent sales person.

I was in contact with Andy who works here whilst I was away and he very kindly reserved a car for me and allowed me to come and collect it when I returned.
The car was exactly as expected, great condition and the customer services was fantastic. Staff were really friendly and helpful and it was well worth the journey from the far north of Scotland.

We arranged to buy a 2019 Fiat Panda here (350 miles away from us - yes, Pandas are scarce!) on 7 November. It was to be ready for collection on 11 November. On arrival, at the agreed time, we had to wait 45 minutes for someone to deal with us. The sales person, Simon Hill, then appeared (no apology) and we had a test drive. The car was excellent, apart from an intermittently silent speaker, lack of any service evidence and damp seats. We were happy though, on the basis that the problems could be fixed before we had to leave (45 mins or so). We then watched an extended quarrel in the showroom as to who would (or wouldn't) be prepared to do what, and when. We lost all confidence in buying the car after that. We got a refund of our deposit and left (again with no apology). The communication needs to be improved. The customer needs to be put first (however far they travel). The car was just what we wanted and well-priced (5* for that) - we would have purchased it, but for the 1* customer service. Be warned!
UPDATE 24/11/2022 following this review, Pentagon have been in touch to apologise to us; find out more about the complaint; and advise what action they propose to take to ensure a more consistently good level of customer service. Doesn't change our experience, but credit and thanks to them for their actions.

So I bought a 2018 Seat Leon FR from this dealership. Fair to say was a few issues with the car that were promptly sorted when found. Until I noticed some issues with the paintwork then spent weeks trying to get the car back with calls and emails left unanswered, then finally once I had got contact I was told the paintwork I had found would be sorted. Then once they got the car on site I was told it wouldn’t be done and wasn’t covered and that they wouldn’t be doing anything further to help me.

The long and short of this avoid this dealer if you want to have a positive aftercare. Very poor communication and unwilling to help rectify issues with the car.

Fantastic buyer experience, well worth the travel.
In all my years of buying cars I have never encountered a salesman as helpful as Simon. He took me out for a test drive, his knowledge of the car was great, and he answered all my questions about the car.
The sale was a breeze, and it was great deal with a salesman that for once didn’t want to screw every penny out of my PX
When I went to pick up my car, Simon went through all the paperwork with me, then when I received my car Simon took the trouble to go through things with me and answer any questions I had about the car
It was valeted to a high standard.

I cannot recommend Pentagon, Chilwell enough for anyone looking for a new car. The site is easy to access, the staff made me feel comfortable and the process was so easy. I was dealt with by Andy who kept in regular contact and the time frame between showing interest and leaving with my new car was only a week! My car is stunning, it was valeted so beautifully for collection and it was honestly the best choice I made going with Seat! Thank you for making my experience so positive.

Amazing service by Simon. He kept me up to date on every step and never failed to answer any questions I had. He explained everything perfectly and made sure everything went smoothly When buying my new car. Highly recommend this branch. Great service from Simon and also Sarah too!
