I would quite happily recommend coming to this school to anyone. I have had three very different experiences with three different children and they have all been excellent. The teaching staff are always very supportive and if there has been an issue it has been dealt with swiftly and appropriately. My children are made fully aware there are people to go to if there should be an issue and as parents we are always involved. My son also has autism and the school have always been supportive of his additional needs since day 1 making it a safe and happy place to come to.

Kettering Buccleuch Academy is a great school. The lessons are really interesting. The school offers so many amazing opportunities. There are lots of fun clubs after school such as netball, basketball etc. The house system is brilliant, especially all the competitions. The teachers are all really nice and supportive.

School is beautiful. Hard working site members and cleaners trying to keep the entire school clean. However the students on secondary side are completely disrespectful to other students, students on the primary side are lovely, respectful to everyone and most importantly help clean big bits of rubbish off of the carpets. Shame that the secondary students act in a manner involving throwing rubbish on the floor and swearing at everyone. Not all of the secondary students are like this but mostly year 7's to year 9's, the ones who are not disrespectful are sometimes forgotten about due o the emphasis on paying attention by warning moving and removing the students that misbehave. Would be better if they only gave one warning before isolating the students who misbehave.

Should also mention that when I attend this school as a primary student about 9 years ago, I was heavily bullied due to my hair colour and size, experienced a massive drop with my self-image and still struggle when my boyfriend calls me beautiful due to all of the horrible names that students called me whilst I attended this school. The bullying only stopped after 2 years when a new student punched one of the bullies for me after they called me a "bleached whale" the student got in more trouble for standing up for me than the bullies did for insulting me for 2 years. Most teachers that do help with bullying and actually deal with it didn't even start until after this problem was over.
The bullying situation has gotten better however in my final year at this school I still saw students insulting each other and starting physical fights down on the field or at a nearby park in their uniforms.

Any good teachers there are few and far between, my friend is not the smartest person and has tried her hardest especially in science yet one of the teachers saw her struggling with remembering equations during a class recap test and disregarding her hard work moved her down a set, she felt like the teacher was calling her stupid.

If you want your child to have a good self-esteem do not send them here unless you are sure that they wont be caused to feel insignificant or stupid because of other students. Would recommend if they got rid of some of the teachers and implemented harsher punishments.

This school is fantastic. I don't think there is another school which offers so much opportunity and fun for students. Students are encouraged to push their boundaries and enter house competitions which play to their strengths, this can be a massive achievement for some. Disruption free learning is what it is all about. Students are here to learn so we help them make the most of their time in every lesson.

This is a fantastic school and there is nowhere else I would want my children to be. I have two children at this school; one in Primary inY6 and one in Secondary in Y9. The ethos of the school runs right through from those first years right until the last. Obviously we all want the best education for our children but at KBA it is more than that. The amazing staff and fabulous setting ensure a wealth of extra activities and opportunities are open and on offer. This gives all students the chance and encouragement to shine in whatever they love doing most. I know the seed has been set by their values for my children to always strive for their best whilst having empathy and respect for others. I feel happy and secure knowing my children are in the best care and that they feel happy and enjoy going to school. At KBA there is always a welcoming, friendly face for all of us. I can't recommend highly enough.

Its an amazing school they really care about you're future. The only thing I would say is negative it how they try make everyone like eachother, also they don't usually do much to friendship situations and how welfare is towards their clients (in otherwords always late) but other than that really good school. But the solving things between students is really not their specialty they don't realise it could be bullying as its the first time THEY hear it.
