Great little staycation, so many little touches that make it special - they really have thought of everything. The pantry and food in the freezer is reasonably priced, bed was really comfy, and the outdoor bath really got us in holiday mode. It was great to have the walk directly out from the back garden to take the dog for a walk. We booked super last minute (11pm on Sunday night to check in on Monday!) and they still managed to arrange all the extras that we wanted. Highly recommend ☺️

Cannot fault it at all. A complete retreat experience for my husband and I, and we will absolutely be returning. The breakfast box was amazing and the fact that condiments and cooking oil etc was provided made life even easier. I’ve already recommended to everyone I know. I just remember walking around the place when we got there saying ‘I could live here!’ repeatedly to my husband. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed than I did for those two nights (not since I had kids that’s for sure). The bath tub, the chaise, the huge comfy bed, the gorgeous interior. It was so private and quiet. I’m obsessed.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! Despite only being 30 mins from home it felt like we were miles away and we really managed to switch off. Perfect for us and our two dogs - the pantry items made the whole experience super easy and the food we had was all absolutely delicious. Chris and Vicky were amazing hosts and really made us feel welcome but also gave us our space the entire time - the perfect balance!!

Just got back from a lovely weekend in The Foaling Box. The accommodation is beautiful, quirky, clean & comfortable. And it's super secluded - lovely to enjoy some peace & quiet. Definitely a much-needed break for us both!

Impeccable decor, serene surroundings. The owners left no stone unturned when it came to the small things available to you, whether you forgot the dog bags, your lady bits, wanted a facemask, a bath bomb, a curry, a cocktail, the list is endless. The outdoor deep soak bath was magical, we went in when it was dark, watched the stars and the planes coming and going. Even the dog wanted to be in the private garden most of the time. We thought we would barely be in the apartment, but actually spent a lot more time there than we thought. I'm trying to keep this review short but it's very hard when there is so much to say, ultimately it's a beautiful place that you can tell was made with love.

We stayed in Bec for 2 nights in September with our dog. It is fairly small but perfectly formed with everything you could need and more (cinema screen to watch from bed anyone?) They are dog friendly and little touches such as treats and towels made us feel our dog was very welcome. Highly recommend the dine in kits that meant we could relax and have delicious dinners and a bit of fun making pizzas! We all enjoyed the local walks which were easily accessible from the accommodation and meant that we didn’t use the car once we had arrived. We mistimed our walk which meant we missed out on a pub lunch in the highly rated local pub, but that was our own fault being used to London opening hours! A note to other urban visitors to plan ahead!

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Bethnal! We came from London, so not far to travel, but once we were there it felt like a real holiday. The owners have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing - the pantry had everything you could need with reasonable prices. The room was STUNNING and we loved spending time in the hot tub outside. I wasn't feeling too well on the first morning we were there and the owner kindly left some lemsip for me outside the retreat, which is just really great customer service. I had ordered a celebration package for my boyfriend and he loved the cake and small touches. The food in the 'dine-in' boxes was top quality. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

I've stayed in the Foaling Box and in Bethnal and loved every minute of each stay The location is quiet and during my latest stay, in the fog, it was truly silent! Options to get meals pre-sourced are all delicious and the contents of the honesty pantry still has me salivating. Oh and the outdoor baths!!!!!
