My Cool Holiday

Had an amazing time in the most beautifully decorated horsebox in England - Ges! Could not have asked for more, the perfect and relaxing get away from a busy life. Our hosts Yvonne and Gary went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Can't thank them enough!

Had the most amazing time staying in Ges. So quiet and peaceful, as oasis of calm in a busy world. Yvonne really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable even giving us an amazing hamper of local produce when we arrived. We came away so relaxed and refreshed. Hope to return one day very soon.

What a lovely location so peaceful just what's needed for a relaxing break from the hussle and bustle of daily life. Well done to Yvonne on such a great job converting the horse box it has everything you need and is really comfy and as a host I can't fault her helpfulness in making my stay so great. Can't wait to go back again and relax in the beautiful and very peaceful surroundings :)

My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous time aboard Ges. We arrived to be greeted by a smiling Yvonne bearing a gift of a great hamper of goodies. Local sausages and asparagus, fresh home produced eggs, delicious fresh bread, orange juice butter jams etc etc - what a lovely welcome. The horsebox is immaculate and try as we might we could not find anything missing! We brought our own coffee and cafetiere but found both already there, We sat on deckchairs sipping wine and watching the birds settling, then had a bbq and bed. The bed is really comfy and the bathroom, Little Ges is fab, hot shower and lovely soft towels.
We can't wait to return.

What a lovely weekend, ok so there might have been a bit of mud but that's what you get in the county! Jes (the horsebox) has been beautifully converted and Yvonne goes out of her way to make us feel welcome and cosy in our weekend retreat. Can't wait to go back again.

We had a fantastic weekend in Ges the horse box. The location was superb in such a quiet, rural, peaceful location. It was such a relaxed weekend we did not want to leave! Yvonne and Gary go out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended!

My 11 year old son and I had a wonderful few nights in Ges. It was Easter so could have been a bit chilly, but the wood heater kept us snug and warm and Yvonne's welcome hamper was a delight. We made giant pancakes on the BBQ, enjoyed walking the local footpaths and met some interesting beekeepers! Best of all was how solitary the location was - we had time to bond, explore, read and play games, just what we needed. I came home completely refreshed - a proper break in a special, nurturing place.

We went to Ges on a week end of September 2017. What an inspiring, relaxing, delightful experience ! The horse box is very comfy and well located in the middle of the field. Peace and happiness are obviously part of the stay in Ges for those who love simple life, warming up around a fireplace while it's raining cats and dogs or sunbathing for a lunch of grilled salmon and fresh drinks in the middle of the nature. Yvonne was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the communication and I could not asked for a better host. Highly recommended!
