Moonrise Lodges

We stayed for a week in February and had a brilliant and very relaxing time. The lodge is very well equipped and had everything we needed and more. The view from your windows are stunning. The hot tub was a massive thumbs up with the kids. We were made to feel very welcome and even got a tour of the working dairy farm the lodge was on. There is a local pub approx. a mile away. If you enjoy walking and the outdoors you will love this place, we were very sad to leave and get back to the rat race. I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough and can't wait to go back again someday.

Beautiful location with two fabulous Log cabins with Hot tubs. Had a fantastic 5 night break. Highly recommended and will definitely be returning. Huge thank you to the owners for making us so welcome, regards Mike and Debbie

An amazing place. A true hiden gem. The owners are very nice people. The bottle of champagne and the brownies were a nice touch. Very well presented cabin, with a great attention to detail. We will defenatly be staying here again.

An absolutely fantastic place to stay.Two lodges set on a mountainside with panoramic views. Also a hot tub to relax in and admire the night sky. The lodges are modern and spotless and the owners a pleasure to deal with

Lodge's perfect for a quiet holiday. Inside very comfortable with everything you need. Scenery beautiful regardless what time of year you come. When you have been once you'll want to come again.

This was the second time we have stayed here. we have already booked for next year. the welcome is excellent and the hot tub is checked daily. Cabin is one of the best we have stayed in and the covid precautions were both understandable and none intrusive still the same experience after covid as before. a caring owner makes this both private and luxurious.

Lodges have everything you need for a perfect holiday. Weather was good and we made use of the pond again everything you needed.

Immaculate, extremely comfortable and all our needs were catered for. We had four fabulous nights, loved every minute and would highly recommend. Worth every penny!
