An absolutely fabulous place. We really enjoyed our stay, even the wet weather didn't put us off it just means we'll be back when the weather is better for a proper walking break!

Wonderful place to stay! The host was very accomidating giving us fresh water, fire wood and emptying the toilet daily. Lovely view and close to attractions. I would recommend bringing some fully charged powerbanks and a torch as the power went off a lot during the night and wasn't strong enough to charge out phones.

Great base. Rustic, but all we needed. Alison the farmer is lovely and very helpful. She sells logs for the campfire. Mattresses are comfy and the place is clean. We are going to go again.

A fantastic place to stay. Close enough to walk into Leek town and also over the hills to the Peak District and The Roaches. Very friendly host.
