Had a fantastic holiday at Painters Cottage. Accomodation was very cosy. Perfectly peaceful, wonderful scenery and a very warm welcome from Joanna who is brilliant. Will definitely go again.

A lovely home from home with all the conveniences. I loved how the heating was on when we woke up and came home. It was 15 minutes from Whitby and Scarborough which was perfect. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This working farm is conveniently situated between Scarborough and Whitby in the North Yorkshire Moors national park. An ideal base for exploring the coast or Moors.

Lovely accommodation, Fantastic area with amazing views and Joanna and Robin are wonderful caring host's.. we have been coming here every year since 2006.. would highly recommend...

Murk head holiday cottages are lovely. We were there for a staycation during Covid peak times when restaurants and other places were not open. Murk head offers amazing unspoiled natural views .
Tastefully decorated, kitchen has everything you need for cooking basic meals. Warm and cosy sitting area with floor to ceiling windows .
We loved this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and relaxing cottage stay.
