Great place to stay, the cottage has everything you need and a wonderful garden with raised countryside views. The garden is private for the guest and is totally dog friendly. Pub very short walk, I would stay again and again

Stayed for a week and had a really relaxing time visiting the amazing sights of north Yorkshire. The accommodation is spot on and the location ideal for walking, cycling and exploring the lanes and villages. Best pub in Yorkshires is 8minutes walk away. Easy to get upto the Clevland way or Sutton bank centre. Going back again soon

We arrived after dark and it was not easy to find on first visit. However, Simon at Bellwood House came out and sorted us out. It is a very cosy place with a kitchen living room and separate bathroom off the bedroom. The outside space has dog secure (and friendly) garden, table and chairs (2 sets) and access to the field behind. Car space close to makes loading and unloading a breeze. There is terrestial tv and free WiFi if you want to use it. Kitchen has everything you'd expect. We'd come again, but next time I'd bring a torch as there are NO streetlights in the village!
