The Secret Yurts

Our Yurt "Oak" was beautiful with candles that added a magical touch, the mattress and duvet were of high quality. Expect some flys due to the surrounding nature, a solution for this was provided by the host. Bathroom was modern, clean and spacious, The towels were of high quality, however, I would've liked a matt in the bathroom as the shower had no curtain.

We used a shared Kitchen which was fully equipped and clean, and we enjoyed preparing our breakfast and then drinks for the hot tub. Although our yurt comes with a small private hot tub and limited kitchen, we got to use the big kitchen and hot tub as we were the only ones there. The big hot tub was great, lovely sound system that connects over Bluetooth.

A bit of a downside for our experience was the lack of lights in the pathways from the car park to the place, also around and to the yurt as the beauty of the place was missed at night, especially in long winter nights.

My daughter and I were treated to a two night stay here. What an amazing experience. The yurts were magical, so many beautiful details, just perfect. The whole site was impeccably clean and perfect. We loved the hot tub and spent hours in it, perfect bonding experience.
The setting itself was fantastic, being woken up by sheep’s and cows, what else could anyone ask for. We are definitely going to be back.

I had this weekend purchased as a birthday present. It not only lived up to what I expected but exceeded all expectations. Fantastic location, beautiful yurt which has clearly been decorated with love. The wood fired hot tub was perfect and we spent all evening in it watching the stars and listening to nature. The bathroom is spotless with towels and dressing gowns provided, felt more like a spa break. Facilities were impeccable and everything has been thought of, all in detail. Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Tracey said to call or text if we needed anything and she would get it sorted. Perfect if you want to unwind and unplug from life. With definitely be coming back.

This was a special place to stay. The Yurt was lovely very comfy & relaxed. It had a wood burner which made it warm & cosy. We also had our own bathroom & kitchen which was great as well as a hot tub so you could just chill out & go nowhere if u didn't want to, it was all very romantic and private. The location was scenic with lovely places to visit. Tracey the owner was great made sure we were happy and was at hand if needed .Thank you.

I stayed with my daughter and we enjoyed everything! The initial welcome, the spacious and well appointed yurt with very efficient wood burner, the preheated hot tub, the colourful decor, luxury bathroom and kitchen, comfy bed and fantastic location in peaceful woodland and near walks and days out in Snowdonia and more local beauty spots. My partner and I decided to book a weekend away at The Secret Yurts (Birch yurt) in November 2021 and what a fantastic stay it was! We were both blown away by the yurt itself - the fire was already lit, hot tub on and candles burning upon our arrival, and the facilities were excellent - each yurt has it's own private, heated shower room and toilet, and also a kitchen area. Not to mention the lovely, warm welcome from our hosts and all of their tips and recommendations for our time there. The yurt and facilities were super clean and private, and we had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing I would recommend is bringing warm clothes as the temperature can drop after the fire burns out.

The location was also brilliant, and we did a lot of exploring around Wales during our trip - loads of fresh air and beautiful walks. It's the perfect weekend away if you're looking for an experience that's a bit different, and also allows you to completely switch off from your busy day-to-day life and enjoy some relaxation.

We'll definitely be back!

What a wonderful weekend away! we stayed in the Rowan yurt and it was beautifully decorated and cosy. The facilities were great too, clean and modern and the hot tub was wonderful! Highly recommended this place to anyone after a relaxing or romantic weekend away.

What an amazing place to stay! Beautiful, peaceful and private! Also the owners Tracey went an extra mile for my husband’s to be 30th birthday! She arranged balloons and a cake! It was lovely! She also sent us lots of details about what’s around and the best places to eat! We loved every minute spent there!
