This beautifully restored carding mill is now a lovely rural home from home whilst just a short walk to Rhayader village and the excellent Lost Arc cafe & music venue. We enjoyed an early spring break in Fron Cottage to celebrate a birthday as we love the Wye and Elan Valleys. Liz and family provided tasty home-bakes and a warm welcome; the superbly equipped cottage, walking routes and wildlife provided everything else we could wish for. We will be back.

A lovely, welcoming cottage, clean & well equipped. The downstairs extension had a beautiful country view, full of wildlife, trees & a running brook. Would definitely go back.

'Chocolate box" luxury cottage in a superb rural location close to a stream. A really great place to get away from it all and relax. All bedrooms are ensuite with plenty of space on the ground floor. All in all, a great place for a holiday. The narrow wooden staircases might not suit those with limited mobility but the sheer welcoming ambience of the cottage and its owners makes up for this. Positioned less than a mile outside Rhayader that is a great little town with lots of small independent shops and lovely riverside walks.
