Deri Fawr Holiday Cottages

Wow - our stay at The Byre was fabulous. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The grounds are immaculately kept with lots of flowers, wild life and 4 resident ducks, that are free to wander around, to enjoy.

Deri Fawr is an ideal location if you want to get away from modern day living, and yet not too far to discover the beautiful island of Anglesey.

Everything about the place is 1st class and the hosts, Helen and Rick, are so lovely, friendly and accommodating. We would have no hesitation in recommending this little gem in Anglesey.

We booked a 3 night stay at Deri Fawr and stayed in the Smithy accommodation.
The communication from Rick and Helen in the lead up to the stay was brilliant.
Once we arrived we were welcomed by them both and were made to feel at home for the duration of the stay.
The accomodation itself is lovely, cute cottage feel with modern touches like high speed WiFi and a smart TV.
We loved it so much the kids were sad to go home and we all agreed we would be booking to stay at Deri Fawr again.

Just returned from a week staying in The GRANARY at Deri Fawr. We had an amazing time. the location is perfect to make the most of Angleseys beaches and activities and then come home to such a wonderful setting. Helen and Rick are wonderful hosts and really make you feel welcome. the grounds are beautifully maintained and although there where people staying in the other accommodation it was very quiet and tranquil the perfect antidote to Treadur Bay beach on a sunny Sunday afternoon !! The ducks that wander around are so cute and Esmee was so pleased to see a wild bunny most days on the drive ! Thank you Helen and Rick we look forward to returning

Recently stayed 4 nights at Deri Fawr in the Smithy. We had a great time. The accommodation was lovely and had everything we needed. The grounds are fab and were ideal to entertain our 9month old daughter, she particularly enjoyed the ducks and sitting in the hammock. Helen & Rick were lovely and so welcoming. Location was great for us, lovely rural setting but also pub,shops etc only a short drive away. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Anglesey.

We stayed in The Byre several years ago and it's been beautifully refurbished. We had a lazy peaceful stay, loved watching the birds and Tufty on the feeders outside the kitchen window. (For those of you under a certain age, a red squirrel, ask your parents or grandparents) Helen and Rick are lovely hosts, we're hoping to book again soon. John and Susan

Great location for reaching local towns and beaches but remote enough to enjoy dark skies and tranquillity.
Friendly owners. Nice accommodation ... I can see eight bird species from my armchair.
Very large surrounding gardens with many trees and ponds...A wildlife haven...I hope I can get to see the resident red squirrels.

Just returned home from a wonderful break at Deri Fawr. We stopped in caravan 1 which was great and provided everything we needed. The site is set in a beautiful location and is a perfect base to explore the island. We had daily visits from the baby rabbits and residential ducks ! Helen and Rick are the perfect hosts! We hope to return very soon !

Deri Fawr, an idyllic secluded location on Anglesey. Caravan 1 was spotlessly clean with everything you could need. A lovely welcome from the hosts who are on hand if needed. Great base for exploring the island, with beaches only a short drive away. Hope to return again.
