Bishop Howells
Arguably the best bothy in Wales and well worth the effort to reach. Popular during summer weekends otherwise deserted for those in need of some solitude. Pack extra food as you wont want to leave. NB: some of the river fords are thigh-deep and fast flowing in bad weather

Great bothy, well maintained. Possible sleeping platform above main room for larger groups?

Great beds and wood burner. Dry and clean throughout. There are three directions to come from to get there, if you can come down directly from the forestry track you will have a much better time. The other two ways involve a lot of paddling through water. During the summer it's only ankle deep, but after a lot of rain I'd imagine it would be an absolute nightmare getting there. Coming down from the forestry track means you don't go anywhere near the river so you'll be fine
