We stayed for 4 nights in the Coach house cottage, on arrival Nici greeted us with her local knowledge and friendly chatter and introduced us to the wandering goats and sheep and not forgeting chief the dog. Kitchen is fully stocked with lots and pans. If you need anything there is an Aldi and a Tesco 5 minutes drive away in Aberteifi (Cardigan). It is self catering so take anything you need. All rooms clean and tidy. The heating works amazingly we thought being in a country cottage we would be cold but no, so don't worry about that. Everyone moaning about the tv or Wi-Fi, your in the country what do you expect, even my sky at home stops if a storm comes over. Wi-Fi what do you need that for look outside sit in the hot tub with your partner and relax don't check your e-mail. Lovely grass area which is perfect for children and dogs all fenced in (don't know about the other cottages). Any time we spoke to Nici she was very helpful and accommodating to our questions and requests. She can only fix things if she knows that there is a problem, so don't moan that it's not right and then not tell the owners. Fantastic trip and would recommend visiting poppit sands just up the road. Would recommend this place to everyone. Y Cwtch.

Stayed in a dome at Rosehill and it was overwhelmingly beautiful. The host was so welcoming and our stay was very comfortable, and like nowhere I've stayed before! Could stay at the farm the whole time as there are great facilities and the landscape is incredible but Cardigan town is also close by with nice places to eat. Definitely want to come back.

This is a fantastic place to stay and discover the beautiful and charming Cardigan and Pembrokeshire Coastlines. The cottage had great views, was dog friendly and had a well equipped kitchen. Highly recommended!

"This farm holiday site is beautiful, very cosy traditional converted ex barn cottages, with log burners, beams, modern kitchen areas,tv,no with or signal, but mobile data signals were fine, beds very comfortable, roomy, but very cosy, views of River Teifie,to die for! Farm managers very friendly & helpful, this area of West Wales is an area of ONB the farm is set in the river valley, which is run by NT & is also a nature reserve park, which is also a visiting centre across river teifie,it is very close to river estuary, leading out to Bristol Channel & local beautiful sandy NT beach Poppit Sands! This site is gorgeous,Glamping Pods are also available on beautiful natural grass meadows on site, which cost £80.00per night with outdoor cooking facilities, pods have View of night sky in roof, with closely large barn cooking and shower facilities sofa, ect; Overall Rose Hill Farm is a must holiday place to stay,it is situated down a 0.5ml.track from lane, only 3 miles from nearby Cardigan, which is a lovely small West Wales town,I & my family have just returned yesterday after spending a gorgeous week there,I did'nt want to leave,no traffic noise at all, just perfect blissful peace & quiet, except for bord song & bleating from 2 very friendly pet farm goats! We stayed in Rose Barn. This is reasonably well appointed with openplan living room and kitchen, and double bedroom with ensuite downstairs, with three large bedrooms (one double, one twin and one triple with ensuite) and a bathroom.

Unfortunately there has been lack of proper maintenance, with window handles broken, and the door to TV cabinet fell off. Also the doors to kitchen cupboards had handles shaped like dolphins where the tails were actually dangerous - there was one incident where one of our group, moving behind an occupied chair, managed to stab herself on a handle, drawing blood and being very painful for a number of days. As we had two children with us, who just at wrong height to knock into the handles and perhaps get more serious injuries, we ended up covering up the handles with cotton wool and masking tape.

We had issues with WiFi, which was advertised as available when we booked, but were told it was shared with owners and potentially limited availability after we paid final balance, then was withdrawn completely four weeks before our visit. Following discussion with agents, we got EE wireless router ourselves (which agents said they'd reimburse). We left this in cottage for next visitors, but does need topping up with new data allowance. It was a shame owners couldn't have sorted this themselves.

While there was a, washing machine, could really do with a tumble drier for towels etc. There was a line outside front door where could air washed clothes, this was at the mercy of Wales' very variable weather. The owners kindly said we could use tumble drier in their outhouse, but this was mostly already in use when we needed it, or locked up.

Also owners did have slightly annoying habit of parking their own cars on a couple of occasions right in front of living room window, which restricted access for our own cars to parking area, meaning we had to reverse around corner of cottage keeping eye out for hot tub and stone barbecue which could be difficult to see in dark and wet.

We wouldn't rule out going back again, but would likely try find another similar size cottage in the area instead

We stayed in one of the domes for 5 days. The view was amazing. I could have easily stayed up all night star gazing. The light pollution is very low where they are so it is perfect for peace of mind. It is close to many beaches and the river is a quick escape also. Can’t wait for my next visit here. Nicki and her daughter were wonderful hosts. 🧝🏻‍♀️

Booked a week long holiday and unfortunately had to cut it short. Tried our hardest to stay there for the full 7 nights but the conditions were poor, considering the fact it’s supposed to be a 4 star cottage. Stayed in the cottage the owners refer to as ‘Deri’, the cons outweigh the pros if I’m honest. The pictures really speak for themselves; but anyway as you walk in
1 - The kitchen is sticky, and the appliances are gross and old; the fridge stinks because the electricity constantly turns off - happened to us several times, during the night the fridge and radiators would turn off, nice touch considering it’s winter. So we had to throw a fair bit of food away, and woke up freezing. The utensils are covered in a nice generous thick layer of dust and dirt. So cooking is a no right off the bat.
2 - The couches. The crumb covered, used tissue hidden in between the pillows, random flute jammed inside couches. Nice thing that they left that flute for us, something to do considering there’s no WiFi even though the listing claimed that there is in fact WiFi.
3 - Old fake pictures. The pictures on the website made it look fresh and clean, nice bright living area with white walls. Nope. It’s all been painted a navy blue colour which is chipping off, leaving the place looking tacky and like a cave.
4 - The bathrooms. The downstairs bathroom or wet room I guess is just ew. The shower drain doesn’t drain anything, so you just stand in dirty water which goes past your ankles. The upstairs bathroom has slanted walls, so as you enter you hit you head, as you stand up from the loo you hit your head and same with the bath. The hot water also stops working after about 4 minutes, so freezing bath or no bath.
5 - Spiders and cobwebs. The spiders are actually included in the price, they’re permanent tenants so keep that in mind.
6 - Hot tub. The day we arrived, the hot tub turned off and we didn’t want to mess with anything so we asked the owner to come and help, she spoke to me as if I was an inconvenience. I told her I was unable to turn the hot tub on and her response was “Oh honey”.
7 - No washing machine. There’s a dishwasher? But no washing machine.
8 - The sticky blue instruction manual. A big blue folder was left on the table which included everything you can’t and can do. There’s also a laminated piece of paper in the upstairs bathroom which basically says to limit the usage of the toilet.
9 - Tv doesn’t work, so if you don’t bring a laptop you’re sat in silence.
10 - The actual advert on cottages.com was removed before we arrived which was extremely suspicious.

Positives :
1 - There were towels left in the bathrooms.
2 - The beds seemed fairly clean. However, the duvet is extremely heavy so, unsure about that.
3 - A man came with clean curtains and installed them.
4 - Hot tub, if it doesn’t turn off of course, because then you have to wait a whole day for it to get warm.

Overall a very disappointing experience considering we drove over 4 hours to stay here, one big waste of money and time. Ended up contacting cottages.com and got a refund for the 4 days we didn’t use up which was the only good thing. Shame really because the views and surrounding area is beautiful.

If you’re just using the cottage as a place to sleep you’ll probably be fine and won’t notice how unclean it is; but if you’re looking to actually chill and spend some time relaxing in the cottage, is a no-go.
