Cefn Coed Cottages

What a perfect little get away!!! We stayed (family of 4) in between Christmas & New year 2021 and its was just what we wanted. Feels like in the middle of nowhere but only a short drive to your local town centre & attractions. Very quite and peaceful with lots of beautiful walks. The hot tub was a great hit the kids. Ideal for those who are looking to take some time out and take a break. The cottage itself was well maintained, clean & tidy and had everything we needed including travel cot/ towels/ bedding. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Just come home from a 2 night stay at one of the cottages. I cannot recommend the cottages highly enough. They are absolutely gorgeous, a home from home. The hot tub is a perfect addition no matter the weather, the views are absolutely breath taking, and Arwel the own is so helpful and an amazing host. I went with three friends and we all have children back home and think that these cottages are perfect for families as well as adult only get aways. The pricing is perfect too!!! Definitely worth every penny. Looking forward to another visit to explore some more!!

Absolutely amazing location. Beautiful views. Within walking distance of the sea (20 min walk). Well located for the northern peninsular and Snowdonia.

The hosts were very friendly and always happy to help.

We stayed in Cegn Foch cottage, which for a family of 4 was a good size and really well noted out. Kids loved the hot tub.

At the end of July 2022 we stayed in the Beudy cottage for our 4th time. We keep going back because we love it so much. There is so much to do in the area, the cottage works well for our family, everyone enjoys the hot tub & views and Arwel & his family are wonderful hosts.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Sgubor, a spacious, beautifully converted barn in a peaceful location overlooking fields with a lovely view of the sea.
Arwel and his family were very welcoming always available if you needed them and if not they left you to enjoy the lovely peace and quiet.
The cottage had everything we needed, beautifully furnished and with a very well equipped kitchen including dishwasher.
The garden was fully enclosed and perfect for our dog Erik to enjoy the surroundings in a safe environment. The Hot Tub was lovely, well maintained and very clean, the water is changed every-time new guests arrive.
We were new visitors to North Wales, it not a place we know well. We chose the area because of the beeches and we were not disappointed. Arwel has great local knowledge and we were blown away by the beauty of the area, all within 40 minutes’ drive. The local beech is around a 20 minutes, lovely walk from the cottage.
The pubs within the area are still suffering the fall-out from COVID with changing opening hours and staff shortages so my advice is always give them a call to check their opening times and book a table where possible. There is a local Asda supermarket 10 mins drive away so all is very convenient.
The cottage, the hosts and the area were all perfect for our needs and with so many places to visit we have already booked to go back next year. Perfect !

Second stay here and had an absolutely amazing time, yet again!

Perfect place to come and completely switch off and just enjoy your surroundings.

Have stayed in Cegin Foch last year & this time we are in Beudy. Would highly recommend both cottages they are both absolutely stunning.

Arwel is extremely welcoming and on hand if you need anything. Having such an approachable host makes all the difference.

Just come back from Christmas away with friends staying at Beudy cottage at Cefn Cottages and can’t rate it highly enough! There were cute Christmas decorations up for us already as we arrived, a hot tub, enclosed garden, it was so clean and even better - kind and welcoming hosts! The kitchen was fully equipped which meant we had everything we needed for our Christmas dinner extravaganza! Walking distance from a fantastic beach and gorgeous views. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stay that is a home away from home!!
