Ty Cynan

Lovely place, very pretty and very well maintained. Very welcoming; Unfortunately we were unable to get on our original campsite due to boggy grass and terrible field conditions and so we were left with no where to go...i rang this campsite as a last minute thing and they allowed us to stay in our campervan. Lovely people, in the morning Laura came to see us on the pitch and asked if we needed anything which was thoughtful. Can not praise this place enough even through the brief stay we had, but so accommodating! Great value for money too... Toilets/shower are some of the cleanest I've had on a campsite and there is also a cleaning room where tea, coffee and fresh eggs are provided. Would stay again in a flash!! Best campsite on the Peninsula by a country mile. As a family we have stayed on various campsites across the Llyn but this a a hidden gem. Perfectly peaceful and child friendly. A massive plus is the short walk over to the pub. Already booked 2 stays next year. The kids can't wait to go back.

We just got back from a long weekend at Ty cynan, we enjoyed everything about this peaceful campsite. The facilities were spotless and had everything you needed, even fresh eggs which are delicious! Laura and Dylan were very welcoming and said if we needed anything to just let them know. It was a perfect campsite for us as it's small and safe for the kids. We will definetly be visiting again 😊

This is a new site so I can't be too critical, the good points are the location, great for Lanbedrog, Pwllhelli and the settlements at the end of the peninsula.
The toilet and shower block is modern, clean and free to use.
Nice clean kitchenette with microwave, washing machine etc .

Points that could be better in my opinion though a not necessarily the fault of the owners are as follows, the ground for tents has little top soil making pegging difficult, the grass pitches do not drain well at all which means that you feel like you are pitched on a water bed if it rains, which it does. Wasps.
The pitches are a little small for modern tents.
The photos don't show the housing estate just over the field from the site, this will be screened when the hedge grows but for the time being it stands out a bit..

Nothing at all for kids to do.
There are no shops nearby but Lanbedrog is a 5 minute drive and has a decent Spar.

Great for s short stay in a caravan or camper, less so in a tent but only really due to the ground not draining well enough.

The site is level and hard standing and within walking distance of the local pub/restaurant. Facilities new/clean and the couple have gone the extra mile, even a microwave in the wash up room. Also very helpful with local attractions. Definitely recommend.

Amazing campsite. Very friendly, clean and tidy pitches.

We've had a fabulous couple of years on a seasonal caravan pitch at this lovely site. We made the decision to leave at the end of the season to pursue other adventures but have thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The site is peaceful and quiet and is situated in a small, pretty village with a nice local pub and is well placed for everything the Llyn has to offer. This year we have seen the addition of the amazing bell tents which have been very popular. But the best thing about Ty Cynan is the lovely family that run it, the site is a credit to them, they work so hard to maintain it and cater for everyone else's holidays. Thank you for everything Laura, Dylan and boys!

This was an amazing experience , a wonderful place to stay . We stayed in the clamping tents which were beautiful . I cannot rate this site highly enough , a beautifully peaceful place a place of heaven thank you
