Don't be confused between this site and the Pentre Ifan Burial Chamber! The photos that the last reviewer has added are of the Burial Chamber.
This site is only rental accommodation on private land.

The educational centre is on route to woodlands around the Pentre Ifan stones. For those a bit lazy, short of time or infirm you can park within 100 metres of the stones, Google Maps has this. If you want a walk there are several parking places where you can take in the forest land on route to the stones or not. The top of the access road to Canolfan Pentre Ifan Education Centre has a parking lot. No need to drive down the track to the centre.

I note one reviewer must have thought they were at the stones when they were not. It looks us 5 miles and 3 hours to complete a circular walk taking in the "burial stones". There are no services on the route. Perhaps in summer the educational centre is open. Late October it was not... could have been half term thou. Take supplies. The centre may have camping in the summer. Check their website. The elements of the forest park can be Googled for more information. Autumn colours were evident.

How can you get confused between an ancient burial chamber within easy walking distance and guest house.....?

Park rangers were supportive and encouraging. My kids enjoyed making bird boxes, from scratch, then painting them. We made fat balls for birds too, this was outside bunkhouse, some clay modelling and were delighted with making fire with flint stone, and we sat round fire with our picnic lunch. In the woods. It was great time, with family and friends.
