Crashpad Lodges at Yr Helfa

Spent the weekend here with a group of mates for a wee Wales retreat and have got to say, what an amazing lodge! Had everything we needed, comfy beds, very spacious, and the owner went above and beyond for us the whole time. Very good location for those looking to get away and chill or do a weekend of hiking. We're already planning coming back next year and we can't wait already!

Also, Chunky is the best dog known to man. Fact.

I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. It’s evident that Josh has put a lot of love into building an off-grid lodge that offers guest a truly unique and memorable stay in a stunning location. The lodge has everything and more that you’d need for your stay. We came for my 25th birthday and there isn’t enough superlatives to describe how great our time was. Josh is an amazing host, he’s knowledgeable, welcoming and genuine. Thank you for such a lovely weekend, we will absolutely book again

Incredible remote location with beautiful scenic mountain backdrops, relaxing sounds of the flowing river and so many stars could be seen at night as there is no light pollution. This space offers a real escape and the host is fantastic and friendly, we felt very welcome and settled as soon as we got there. We are so grateful that we could experience what this space offers and it's a work of art that this lodge is off grid and sources all of the energy naturally, it's truly a hidden gem, a one we will return to!

What a bloody brilliant place to spend a weekend in such an iconic location. Accommodation is top notch, Snowdon right on its door step - what more could you ask for. Josh (host) is a top bloke and couldn’t recommend booking a trip anymore.

Staying for the weekend for a friends birthday. The place was lovely lots of space for all 13 of us to cook, eat, chill out and sleep comfortably. Setting could have been better the whole area is beautiful and great access to the llanberis trail up to Snowdon. Would recommend and would absolutely stay again. Thanks for an great weekend!

My friends and I were here a few weeks ago, the location is out of this world. The cottage itself had everything you could ever wish for. The host went that extra mile for us!
We are planning our trip for next year already and I have already made recommendations to other friends and family.

Brilliant stay. Perfect location for a swim a walk a swim and another walk and a swim. Or something like that. Josh is ace - gave brilliant tips and really responsive to all our bad questions. Looking forward to coming back.

Absolutely loved my stay! The host was so friendly and really went out his way to help us. Gave us lots of recommendations for less well known activities and walking routes, meaning we had a whole lake to ourselves! The lodge is in a great location, not too far from the village but also very secluded and private. The bbq is an excellent touch and the little river near by is great for swimming in. Would definitely stay again!
