Great facilities at reasonable prices. Real character but with modern and comfortable amenities. Rob was extremely friendly and very welcoming. He is also very knowledgeable as he is the head of the Llanberis mountain rescue. Full respect to him. He has a great little business that I whole heartedly support. I'm already planing my return trip. Try it. You will not be disappointed.

Great location and great amenities, 7 of us stayed on our annual winter motorcycle ride out and had a fantastic time, easy walk to the pub for food and refreshments and a great part of North Wales to get out on the bikes. Hot showers, hot radiators, having stayed in numerous bunkhouses in the area I couldn’t really fault the place. We will be back. Thanks rob.

I wanted to enjoy this place, it looks perfect. Sadly the advanced booking process is really poor, I had 8 people ready to fully pay for 3 nights this July 2018 only to be told that we could only have the whole place at £250 per night that far in advance, naturally you cannot wait until nearer the time as then nothing else would be available! Nothing on the website to indicate this for bookings that advanced. Such a shame as every review rates this place, no doubt it is fantastic for staying in, sadly information around booking needs to be greatly improved when people are willing to pay.

Well appointed, clean and comfortable bunkhouse - would recommend!
Stayed here on a training course nearby and very happy with the facilities and quality.
Appreciated the little extra touches like towels, tea towels, soap etc.
The owner, Rob, was readily available and helped out with various things
If we're really splitting hairs I like a bit more control over the heating (I get cold easily) but otherwise perfect!
(I should add that Rob generously extended the heating at our request when we asked - thanks Rob!)

2 stars deducted for the beds. Cheap mattresses, you're sleeping on metal springs on most. Please replace them! Sore backs, sore sides and sleep deprivation are not what we want before a day in the mountains. Otherwise great kitchen and communal areas, great location!

Ideal location for adventurers looking to climb and hike in the Snowdonia National Park. Very fairly priced and have everything you need. We rented out the entire Bunkhouse for a large group of us and was a fantastic few days!

Fab place. Excellent value-for-money, lovely views, Rob and Karen are most welcoming hosts. It is perfect for exploring Snowdonia.

Ben’s bunkhouse was a lovely base for us to use for our short climbing break. The facilities were all very nice and very clean, the mattresses were comfortable, the showers were a nice temperature and the view is phenomenal. Rob the owner is very friendly and helpful and there is plenty of space in both the kitchen/diner and the lounge. All in all a lovely spot for anyone looking to explore Snowdonia.
