Two rooms. No sleeping platforms but reasonable amount of floor space. A few chairs and tables. Multifuel stove in one room (bring in your own fuel.) porch. Spade. Brush. Fresh water within 20m. Excellent.

Great bothy in a brilliant isolated setting but still only around an hours hike from the car parking.
Inside is large with sleeping platforms to comfortably sleep 6 people and masses more floor space in one room with the other room having a wood burning stove, tables and plenty of chairs.
If visiting please carry out all rubbish and leave the place cleaner than you found it and ready for the next person to enjoy.

I recently walked up to the Bothy with a friend. A real home from home in a stunning, isolated location. A few folks had a roaring fire on the go. They had stayed over from new year. Plenty of space in the bedroom with solid sleeping platforms. We had a chat and a brew and walked back to the car park. Thanks M. B. A 👍

@Sally - I just called Phil (caretaker of the bothy, see contact on the bothy website) who said the door is NOT locked but just needs you to turn the handle and give it a good kick. Hope this clarifies it for you/other people. Will hopefully visit it myself to confirm in a few days. EDIT: Bothy is open and accessible.

Absolutely amazing place but quite steep at parts. The views are amazing on the way up, which we didn't get to see much due to mist. Well worth the hike.

Great location. Had hoped to dry out my feet after the very boggy walk in but found the bothy door locked (appeared to be from the inside...weird as I peered in the windows but no one was inside.)

Can you city folk using this Bothy please have some respect for others and not leave all your unwanted belongings (RUBBISH) behind. It is really sad to see how abused this place can look after a group of lads have been in it.
