We arrived here on 27th July and were booked for 2 nights. The scrappy notice mentioned on the caravan club reviews, informing us that the shower was not working was still in place. No mention was made of this when we booked a week before and as we can now see has not been working for a while. Thankfully as we were only staying two nights we didn’t let this spoil our stay. The site is generally well maintained and very spacious but i do expect there to be a toilet and shower if this is what the description states. Also when we arrived the toilet emptying point was full to the brim and was not emptied until Saturday teatime. If this was my business and weekends are the busiest times I would make the effort to make sure things like the cess pit is emptied ahead of any visitors arriving.

What a great find, great size pitches, beautiful well tended borders, fresh eggs daily, and 25 minutes to Hooton Station to save driving into Liverpool, just £1 parking all day.
Will definitely return whenever we are up this way again. Many thanks 😁👍

One of the most relaxing site's we've stayed at. Spacious, non uniform pitches. Lovely owners. What more can you want.

Another lovely stay what a fantastic site and well kept best CL site I have been mandy les lovely people we had arrived they informed us the shower unit was not in use gad been a problem for a while due to plumbers saying and not doing which was frustrating for them they have a new boiler been fitted this weekend so hey people who find no shower been a problem no longer as we use our van facilities ie shower toilet thats what they are there for this site does not deserve negative comments our friends loved it they have already booked for 2 weeks in sept and we be back next week thanks mandy les and for the eggs .

Was a bit worried as it was a small site and we have 3 kids. But the warden and owners was more than happy to welcome us. The pitches are huge, all fellow campers was friendly. Only found the eggs and jam when we was leaving but will give them a try next time. The site is very well kept, short, hard lawn, perfect for the awning. You have to make your own entertainment, but that made the Weekend perfect for us, just peaceful and fun with the kids. 10x better than your usual uniform site where you spend all day out as there's just no room to play with the kids. Will be returning and have highly recommended to others 😊

A very large four acre site with trees and hedges all around it. A lovely quiet and peaceful spot about 4 miles from the park and ride for Chester. One pub within walking distance of a mile on a public footpath and one within a few minutes drive. A large garden centre approximately 5 miles away and the nice city of Chester only six miles away with city walls, a riverside walk and great shopping. £15 a night with the free use of toilet and shower this has to be a gem. Recommended.

Lovely peaceful friendly CL site with loads of space. Easy walk to the local pub is a bonus.
