The barn was a magical spot to relax in for a few days. And with a kitchen that has all the appliances you could need, it was easy to stay planted at home or to explore the plethora of local towns. This spot is truly dreamy! We highly recommend the walks in the trees around the barn.

What a wonderful place. Had such a lovely time. Very kid friendly: lovely walks in the wood, tractors galore, swings, outdoor fires, toys, incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't recommend enough.

Old Oak Barn is the most beautiful holiday destination I've ever been to. Everything about it is magical, from the stream running by the barn, to the swings and the beautiful wild flowers all over the property. Charlotte and Jerry are the kindest and warmest hosts. They made us feel so at home that we still miss not being there! The surrounding area has so much beauty to be admired. We had lovely day trips to castles and beaches while we stayed at the barn. Evenings were filled with fires, eating outdoors and watching the stars. Inside the barn there is everything you could ever need, from cosy blankets to board games. The place is beautifully furnished and decorated. The bathroom is to die for! It has heated floors and you look out the window to an expanse of green. Birdsong is a constant sound - you can't help but relax! We LOVED our stay at Old Oak Barn and recommend it to everyone!!!

We stayed over Christmas. It's a lovely cottage - warm and comfortable near Charlotte and Jerry's farm. They were such lovely hosts. Charlotte had decorated the cottage and set up a beautiful, home-grown Christmas tree just for us. Fresh eggs, tractor rides to inspect the sheep, walks in the woods right by the cottage, swings galore to try out and views across the valleys. The coast and especially the nearby village of Laugharne are wonderful. Walks galore and some huge sandy beaches. Highly recommended.....eco heating! Wonderful underfloor heating in the bathroom too.

Just so peaceful, you relax as soon as you drive down to the house. Everything you want in a holiday peace and quiet near the sea near major town but most of all contentment.
