Beautiful, idyllic location with large spacious lodges with hot tubs. Outdoor pool. Lodges are well separated and most are 2 storey with parking space. Although some have steep drives.
Less than 10 mins from Llangollen.

Beautiful lodge in gorgeous surroundings. Staff are friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely, they did everything to make our stay perfect. The lodge was spotlessly clean and so was the hot tub. We couldn't have asked for better. We didn't wander much further than Llangollen, as there is so much to see and do. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend Penvale Lake Lodges.

Lovely place. Lodges looking a little tired inside and out. Our bed was the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept on. I did report it to reception, no action was taken. The bed had obviously been "mended". I would have given a 4 star overall but I have to say no sleep for 4 nights was a real let down.

Stayed here for my 50th birthday with friends in no 8. Our hot tub was ready on arrival was clean and checked every morning. The lodge was beautiful very roomy with every appliance you need. Washer dryer fridge freezer cooker dishwasher. Comfortable beds 2 en-suites and main bathroom. Idyllic peaceful setting and friendly staff. Couldnt have asked for better! Close to llangollen plenty of things to do and see will definitely be going again!

Stunning location and beautiful lodges, celebrated my sisters 40th here, it was perfect for us 6 busy women who just wanted to chill, relax, have good food, wine and a good catch up, the area is so beautiful, 5mins to llangollen in the car, highly recommend and will be back

Lovely site and lodges based close to Llangollen. 6 of us stayed for 4 nights - the lodge was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and checked by staff every morning. The boys enjoyed fishing on the stream that ran through the site. Would recommend and return to Penvale Lakes.
