We have had such a relaxing time knowing that Nell could explore outside as much as she likes without getting into mischief. She has sniffed every inch of the field many times over and loved making sure that the chickens, ducks, goats and sheep were all where she left them last time she checked.
Sitting on the deck watching the great variety birds on the feeders provided so many brilliant photo opportunities and so relaxing.
Even a couple of rainy days didn't effect our enjoyment. Staying in, warm and cozy with the log burner lit and a DVD on, switching off from the hussle and bustle of everyday life.
Nell would even venture out in the rain, something she never does at home. A great surprise was that although she was a bit wet, she didn't come back all muddy. So a quick rub down with her towel and she was good as new.
Everything you could possibly need for a lovely relaxing stay. We will be back.
Very nicely presented on arrival with towels and bedding all included for your stay, and a free pack of biscuits. This hut has a wet room shower and toilet, that reminds you just how much more effective old fashioned toilets are, but the extractor fan didn't seem to be working, and the sliding door was a bit 'sticky' when trying to move it (apologies to wife !).
There's a ramp outside to make wheelchair access easier, with two chairs and a chiminea. Parking may be tight if you're in an estate car, as you risk blocking the narrow access road to the other three huts. This is the only hut where you don't have a gate behind your vehicle to enclose your own space for dogs, however there is a gated area just across the road, and an unenclosed area immediately opposite your door.
It's so cosy! Such thoughtful touches and we love that we can just open the door of the hut to let the dog roam. It is quite difficult (I think) to find for the first time.
It also warms surprisingly quickly in winter!
We plan to return.
