Byre Cottages

Stayed in the Old Barn, really lovely dog friendly space that had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. Owners were really welcoming and friendly. The residential area was also fenced off with a shared garden area, that was really nice and reassuring having dogs with us.

Walls of the Old Barn were super thick too which helped keep it nice and cool in the hot weather. 👌

Lovely place to stay. We stayed in the Lakeside Caravan which I was worried might be a bit cramped for 6 of us but it was bigger than I expected and didn't feel crowded at all. The cake and wine on arrival was a nice touch and delicious. The weather did not want to play ball at all during our 4 days but that we still enjoyed looking at the animals on the farm. A short drive to Cardigan and New Quay. I even walked to Mwnt one evening which is one of the most picturesque beaches Ive ever seen. I'll definitley be back.

Loved our weekend here, lovely location and everything you could want accommodation wise.

Lovely cottage with great views! Has a log burner for cosy evenings. Hosts are really helpful, left us a mulled wine and homemade mince pies!

A great place to unwind. We spent Christmas there🌲 Our 🐕 was very happy. The hosts very nice and helpful. I recommend❤️

What a wonderful place to stay. There were 6 of us in the two cottages and we all agreed how spectacular everything was. On arrival we were greeted by a homemade sponge cake and bottle of wine, a lovely touch. The cottages were spotlessly clean and well stocked with lots of bits and pieces. The views from the lawn were straight out of a tourism magazine and we enjoyed some beautiful sunsets. This is a great base for exploring the beaches and sights of Cardigan Bay and further. Sharon and family were very friendly and informative about places to visit and their plans for the future. We will be returning to Byre Cottages. Highly recommend you try a stay here, you will not be disappointed.

So happy we found Byre cottages. Stayed for a week in a Seaview caravan and absolutely loved it! Very nice and clean. Couldn't ask for a better view having a coffee in the morning, horses welcoming you, was just the best! Firepit for own use in the evening watching stars ahhhh! Animals on the farm...just love this place! Not forgetting the owners-very very friendly people! Highly recommend, although don't want to say this as I would want to keep the place as my secret destination 😉

We just got back from a stay in the small caravan on the property, we had a lovely couple of days while the weather was fine but due to heavy wind and rain we had to stay inside and because of the caravans age we found it was too small and very uncomfortable, the caravan isn't double glazed or central heated, although oil radiators are provided, as well as a gas fire, and it a lot was older than we expected but that being said it was clean and well presented, the cream cake wine and roses were a nice touch 🙂

We ended up deciding to set off home a day early, as we just weren't prepared to put up with with the cold or with not being able to be comfortable!!

the cottages do look amazing and it looked like improvements were still being made, but for our first holiday in the past few years it was disappointing 😞
