Stonecroft Hostel

Cheap, no frills accommodation. Needs some maintenance on outside, dated decor inside - furniture piled up in one room. Decent standard of cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, shower worked ok. Shares garden with next door pub, which was handy, but outside was a mess also. Informal and friendly perfect for a stag party.

Friendly helpful staff. It was going through some refurbishment whilst we were there. Been there a couple of times with live bands and other entertainment. Plenty of locals drinks and the normal variety to choose from.

A good local, friendly staff reasonably priced. Good home cooked food.

One if those pubs you need to take the kids to. We wanted a quick stop and this was on our way.
Food was not great, we got a pizza which tasted like it came from the microwave.

The venue is tired BUT the rear garden with the play full dogs and birds running around made up for the food!
I would come here again just for the atmosphere.

We had a lovely evening at the Stonecroft Inn. The owner was very welcoming, the beer was good and the food was generous and delicious. There were groups at other tables in the pub who clearly come back again and again.

Always a brilliant night in here. We missed the hog roast and bands but I'm sure they'll be back as we get to normal.

Best burger around!!
