Honeybrook Holidays

We wanted to go for a night away after a stressful few weeks and honeybrook holidays was perfect. The area is lovely. You get lovely views from hot tub and the owner is very friendly. We got there on a Sunday afternoon and she came over on Sunday night to make sure we were all settled and enjoying ourselves. The pod was lovely and it came with a tea, coffee, hot chocolate and marshmallows they we roasted on the fire pit outside. All in all a perfect little place for a night away. I would definitely recommend

What a beautiful location. Hot tub was amazing. Room was lovely, we stayed in the Stag pod. The people were friendly and couldn't do enough.

Amazing location in mid Wales, perfect if your visiting or exploring the area. The pods are cosy with great outdoor firepits, and lovely hottubs. The staff are all friendly and accommodating, happy to help whenever they can. Toilets and showers are separate to the pods and everything was super clean and tidy. Fantastic coffee shop and tea room on site plus a great country shop and garden centre as well. Would highly recommend for a short break get away in Wales!

We loved our stay at honey brook. We stayed in the bumblebee pod, which was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The most amazing night skies and peaceful surroundings. Our host was friendly and welcoming.

Had an amazing stay in Stag.
Hot tub was amazingly clean as well as the pod. Someone came around every morning to check the hot tub and ensure it was clean for us to reuse.
Staff were amazing and so helpful.
Loads of automatic light in and around the toilet block so no issues in the dark.
They really have thought of everything.
Shame some guests couldn't keep their dog on a lead and stole our fire wood. Staff kindly replaced it.

Amazing location as not too far from local pubs (I recommend The Traingle Inn). Staff were lovely and welcoming. Hot tub was 10/10 and facilities were very clean, it was nice each Glamping pod had their own separate toilet and shower. Thank you for the bottle of Prosecco on arrival! Only thing it needs is a tidy up around the Glamping site but not sure if it is was just to do with ongoing progression of the place. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Stayed in the stag the pod wasnt very clean spiders and cobwebs in the draws and round the pod the bed sheets still had hairs in from the previous guests hot tub was also dirty green slime round the side I was told this was chemicals? owners dont seem very bothered and was actually quite rude when I pointed out the hairs in the bed also there is no lighting around the toilets /shower or a path to the toilet witch I found quite dangerous with a young baby wont be returning to honey brook holiday's

The only good thing about this stay was the location. Very disappointed in our stay! After a long 2 and a half hours drive down we arrived to find a 'we are closed' sign on the door, tried phoning the number given, emailing them and a Facebook message letting them know we have arrived but heard nothing back. We were waiting over half an hour to finally get a message back on Facebook telling us the key 'should' be in the lodge. I thought they would be there to greet us when we arrived as she did say I could pay for the banners on arrival. When I booked, I asked if they could put a birthday banner up as it was a surprise for our friends birthday and they said they were happy to do so and a balloon for an extra £5. When we finally got to the lodge there was no banner or balloon up for us, which was a disappointment. The lodge it self was clean but no milk. We were told to shower before going into the hot tub, so we did only to find the shower leaked all over the floor! But the biggest disappointment was the hot tub. It was dirty and not too temp so we couldn't enjoy it as it was too cold. We phoned Mercedes a few times and finally got an answer, assuming it was her partner or father that answered the phone he was calm and asked what the problem was so we explained to him our problem only to have Mercedes shouting at us in the background very rudely telling us we must have messed around with the hot tub and that she never said she would put banners or a balloon up (I have messages as proof that she said she would put them up) and then to continue shouting at us telling us there is nothing they can do because they are an hour away and that we are welcome to just leave with a full refund. We were all under the influence of alcohol as it was a suprise birthday so we said we couldn't leave. The hot tub was the main attraction for us so not being able to use it honestly ruined the birthday surprise, but her attitude down the phone was the worst ever and ruined it all. Also, none of us mind any farm animals being around but when they use the main door too the lodge as a toilet it was a problem. There was goat poo all over the floor by the main door of the lodge making it hard to come in and out without dirtying our shoes! All in all the only reason this has any stars is for the location but I would not recommend unless you can 100% rely on Mercedes to properly meet your needs. She offered a £50 refund for not using the hot tub and 50% off if we stay again. But we won't be staying again as it's definitely not worth the long drive! I wouldn't normally leave bad reviews but we didn't even get an apology from the owners! Considering we had such a long drive down and paid quite a bit of money to only get £50 back with no apology was horrible.
