Cefnsuran Farm Self Catering Accommodation

Been coming here every year a couple of times a year for over 10yrs in all 3 of the properties available. 2 x log / wood cabins.
And the new meadow lodge bungalow. Perfect for a nice relaxing peaceful break or holiday. Amazing part of Mid Wales. Local town has nice food to eat and a few shops/convenience stores to stock up for food / drinks up at cefnsuran. All 3 have hot-tubs and a sauna in bungalow. Been in dead of winter in snow and in blistering hot with long sunny days. Will be going again soon. Highly recommend to anyone that likes peace and quiet. A little off the beaten track

Amazing! This is the word to describe the experience at Cefnsuran. Weather you are looking for a family oriented location, a romantic and relaxing getaway or a more "extreme" type of holiday, Cefnsuran Farm is definitely the place to go to! Nearby there is a rally school that offers unique driving experiences. Me and my partner stayed in the Meadow Lodge and had booked the beautifully renovated and well equipped cottage, for 3 nights. Chris, the lovely owner of this wonderful land, not only offered 2 extra nights "on the house", but he also sent me, free of charge, a parcel containg a few items I had forgotten there! Do I have to mention that the cottage has it's own pond and outdoor hot tub and we got to see about 20 shooting stars on a clear night, from the hot tub !? The lack of light pollution also made possible for an Observatory to be built not far from the farm, the Spaceguard Centre in Knighton, open to public. Long review short, I enjoyed our experience and would definetly go back! I can only say a big thank you to the owner for his hospitality and generosity.

What a little gem.
We stayed in the cottage. Lovely place. Amazing kitchen. Great beds.
There's a great sauna with a view of the beautiful garden and a hot tub which is great to just sit and relax, but best on a clear evening of star gazing.

Chris is just the most helpful guy you could want to meet.
This was our first visit but won't be our last.

This place is an amazing find, so relaxing and beautiful, both in the sunshine and in rain... can't wait to see it in the snow!!
The accommodation (New lodge & bungalow) are beautifully designed, very comfortable with loads of little extras to help make you stay special.
The hot tubs help to make this place lush, sitting out in the dark watching the moon and stars (so ronantic)
I would agree with all the other comments Chris went out of his way to ensure my hubby n i felt at home and that nothing was too much trouble.
I'm already looking forward to our next visit

This place is just absolute perfection. We have just returned from a weeks stay here and we had such a lovely time. Chris is amazing, nothing too much trouble, always on hand. The lodge itself is beautiful. Fully equipped. Has everything you would need for your stay. We just loved it and definitely will be returning. We have stayed in quite a few lodges in the UK over the years but this one is by far the best. Cant wait to return, already planning our next visit.

Our second visit to Cefnsuran farm in the past 12 months - Chris is a great host, and the accomodation has all you'd want for a quiet and restful break.
Set on a working farm in quiet and picturesque countryside on the edge of the Shropshire Hills, we'd certainly recommend!

3rd time of visiting now, and everything you'd want for a quiet break away. Great facilities in lovely surroundings.

Chris is a brilliant host and nothing is to much trouble always willing to help.
And ++++ the hot tubs are brilliant and well maintained great for star gazing as no light pollution. 🤗

Fabulous day out visiting the beautiful gardens and the hosts, Jill and her husband, made us feel most welcome. This farm is in a beautiful setting and the scenery is breathtaking.
