Ramblers Rest Cottage

Our bolt hole in Wales - switch off completely - no wifi. In the village of Crickhowell voted best High Street. You just need to bring your personal items and food. Well appointed cottage with private sun trap back garden. You can go for walks straight from the door.

We had a great stay at Ramblers Rest. The cottage is warm, cosy and comfortable with nice homely touches. It’s in a great position for walking with many walks from the cottage door.
Would highly recommend particularly to walkers both for its position and lots of walking leaflets and books in the cottage.
Very good value and a lovely garden to enjoy if the sun shines!

Wonderful hospitality and help and support from Christina, whose lovely cottage it is. Great location, although parking can be problematic but that was already pointed out when booking.
The welcome pack was very informative and comprehensive.

I wanted somewhere central and cosy and Ramblers Rest couldn't have been better - just minutes from river walks and the town centre. The garden is wonderful and, although the weather was chilly, I managed to get some sunny rests in the afternoon. The cottage is very well-equipped, especially with information about walks and local sights. I slept in the back bedroom - total peace and morning sunshine. I've already told others about it and definitely hope to be back.
