Pentref Luxury Camping

If you’re looking for somewhere different to stay then this is definitely the place. The location is ideal as getaway from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We immediately felt relaxed as we entered the site and were met by the owners Julia and Jon who showed us around there lovely haven. There is an adorable shepherds hut and a luxurious yurt. We stayed in the Yurt which was an amazing experience. Waking up to the stargazer roof was awesome. The bed was extremely comfortable.
The facilities were spot on, including everything we needed. Everything was clean and comfortable. Julia and Jon are such lovely people, giving great advise on where to go and what to do.
It is a short drive from Aberearon which is a lovely harbour town, we especially enjoyed the Harbour master (amazing breakfast) – definitely worth a visit.
We will definitely be returning to this wonderful glamping location! Thank you Julia and Jon for making our stay so pleasant

The best weekend away!
Julie & John were incredible hosts and nothing was too much trouble! We were greeted with such a warm welcome and were provided with a tour of the grounds. We stayed in the shepherds hut which was beautiful and had everything we could possible need. The fire was lit upon our arrival which was such a lovely touch and quite romantic too! The room had USB sockets to charge your phones, cooking equipment along with plates and cutlery and fairy lights and candles for the perfect mood lighting. The site was extremely easy to find and the hosts were extremely accomodating due to our late arrival. The scenery is beautiful and there was no better feeling waking up in the morning, taking a stroll to to the pond with a cup of tea in hand! There are hammocks in the woodland area to sit and relax which is a great touch and the local town is only a short distance away. I would hesitate to book again! Thank you both for such a lovely stay, we cant wait to book again in the future!

We arrived just after lockdown for a few quiet nights away and a change of scenery. The yurt is beautifully presented and we were made to feel really welcome by Julia and Jon. We had a tour of the small holding and settled in. The amenities are spotless and well kitted out... absolutely nothing bad to say. We lit the log burner, sat and enjoyed the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional sheep. On my next visit ill be hoping for clear skies, as the area has dark sky status and is perfect for stargazing!

We have just spent a peaceful weekend in the luxury yurt. Jon was the perfect host making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The bed was so comfortable, the accommodation pristine, the log stove made the yurt lovely and cosy. The setting is just so beautiful. This place is a must for anyone looking for alternative living for a few days to kick back and relax.

Stayed end of September 2022. On the way over it was just sheet rain all the way so we were travelling with some trepidation! But we got there and the rain had stopped all was well. We stayed in the shepherds hut and despite looking small it was a great little space with everything you need. The bed was comfier than our own at home! The hosts were amazing and kept us stocked up with firewood all through the weekend. We travelled with family who stayed in the yurt and the tent and I must say the Chicken Shack was our favourite place. We gathered, we ate, we drank, we laughed!! What more can you want. We left rested and already talking about returning next year!

We had the loveliest stay at Pentref. The shepherd’s hut is small but perfectly formed and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay including lovely bedding and towels. A wood burner added coziness on a damp day.
The Pentref setting is beyond lovely - spacious, super-quiet, green and well maintained. An oasis of peace and calm.
Everything here is scrupulously clean and well presented. There is an abundance of hot water and a fabulous shower.
Julia and her husband are on hand to ensure you have everything possible for a perfect stay. We travelled around the area to find wild swimming locations which were fabulous.
The local facilities in Aberaeron include brilliant fish and chips! We could not have asked for more and will definitely be back.

My partner and I stayed in the shepherd's hut. Beautifully made and furnished, really warm and cosy with a log burner in the corner, the most gorgeous views of the countryside. Hot shower and outside tap. Julia and Jon are perfect hosts, warm and welcoming, chatty and kind. Would highly recommend.
