Amazing place to stay. So beautiful and quiet. We stayed in the airstream. It was comfy, cozy and clean. Our host was really helpful and friendly. Such a beautiful place! We shall definitely be returning to it.

I couldn't find the correct Google page and I'm not on AirBnB - I always use TripAdvisor for reviews. But we both enjoyed our stay at Wildernest in the Airstream. Mum particularly wanted me to mention the good coffee (unusual in a rental) and on the two days which were fine enough she loved sitting outside in the morning to drink it. We also appreciated the delicious dinner on arrival and the breakfast baskets. We were impressed with the wet room and quickly got used to the compact interior space, which had the advantage of making her small London flat feel bigger when we got home! The beds were comfortable and the peace and quiet was refreshing.

Thanks to you both for your welcome. We hope someday to come again in better weather and maybe try one of the cottages.

Best wishes

We had a wonderful stay at Wildernest. A perfect escape if you want to relax and unwind in nature. The whole place was perfectly clean, beautiful interior, felt very cosy. I would definitely recommend.

The hosts Jude and Hugh were OK-ish on the surface but everything felt very automated and robotic. The cuddfan cabin is meant for a romantic getaway but provides two chairs and no couples sofa so you sit apart throughout the stay. There is a long bench/seat with backs against the wall but its super uncomfortable. There is no TV for evenings in bad weather which there was a lot of. You can use the WiFi you say? well, the WiFi was absolutely horrendous as nothing ever loads. So if you enjoy sitting indoors in horrible weather with no TV or WiFi, separate seating from your partner and the privilege of paying for all of that, then definitely go to Wildernest. Lastly, using COVID excuse, the guest are expected to take out their own rubbish and strip the bedding even after paying Air BnB cleaning and service charge. Will never be going back!!

Oh dear! This is the first bad review for Wildernest in ten years. We evidently upset Taz by giving her less than 5 stars on the Airbnb review for not following the simple House Rules for coronavirus precautions. They left saying they had had "a lovely time"."

EDIT: To answer the above response from owner.

A: You didn't even try and defend the poor facilities in Cuddfan cabin (don't bother trying now)
B: COVID precautions - Your own Airbnb page says the HOST will take care of all precautions and cleaning in between guest stays yet you expect guests to take off bed-sheets for you clean bins and other services before they leave. I already paid a cleaning fee via Airbnb!!! Why are you so tight that you cannot pay that fee to a cleaner to wear suitable masks and gloves and do the cleaning as you committed to doing as part of the COVID precautions on Airbnb?!
C: You say "her" in your response but you met me not long ago and cannot even address the correct person. Clearly you care a lot about your guests.

Trying to hide behind previous good feedback doesn't mean poor service cannot happen this time round! You have my contact details, did you bother trying to contact me if I didn't do something to your satisfaction?? No you didn't!

My honest review should be an opportunity to improve rather then be defensive.

Have a good day 👍

The perfect place to unwind and refresh. Cosy and beautifully clean with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside. Definitely will be booking in again.

We stayed 3 nights at the airstream and had a wonderful time. Very relaxing setting with lots of privacy. We enjoyed how eco-friendly Wildernest is, and all the little details (wood for the firepit, nice teas and real coffee, cookware for guest use, etc). All of this has made our stay in Wales extra special and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a nice little breather.

Wonderful, relaxing 6 night stay. Totally recommend for a peaceful get-away-from- it-all summer break. We stayed in Cuddfan which was a perfect bolt hole for 2. All facilities were great, including the wifi. You'll need a car for groceries and to see the local sights (or electric bikes). If you enjoy walking, nature, and can make your own entertainment this is totally for you. Various NT places and pretty harbour towns a short drive away.

A beautiful place to stay. Perfectly clean, away from everything but an easy drive to the best of the West Wales coast. We are huge fans of this place and the hosts. Reading some past reviews, I would say that separating your rubbish in an eco-friendly AirBNB is surely to be expected and stripping the bed is common courtesy, especially given Covid19! Perfect hosts. We will be back!
